Formatting Text: Font attributes-

The formatting text includes – Fonts, fonts Size, Underline Bold, Italic, Underline
Numbering and Bullets
Style, Bold, Italic etc. Alignment-Left,right,center

,uppercase etc.
Change Case Alignments
Font Style Font Size
1.Type the text.
2. Select the portion of the text using any selection procedure.
3. Change the font style, font size, Grow font and shrink font of the text .
Using Bold, Italics and underline Options.
BOLD
Select the text and click on Button.

Italic
Select the text and click on the italics Button. The text will become italicized.

Underline
You can under line any word/words with this button. Select the text and click on this
Button.

Numbering and Bullets
To create a bulleted list:
1. Select the lines of text
2. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the Bullets button.
3. You can change the bullet symbol by clicking the Bullets arrow and making
selection from the Bullets gallery.
To create a numbered list:
1. Select the lines of text
2. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the Numbering button.
We can change the number style by clicking the Numbering arrow and
making a selection from the Numbering gallery.

Alignment of the text
The text can be aligned in the centre of the page, left, right or long both left and right
margins
We will find these buttons on the formatting Toolbar.
Left(Ctrl+L) Center(Ctrl+E) Right(Ctrl+R) Justify(Ctrl+J)

Borders:- You can put a border around the page. On the Page Layout tab, in the
Page background group, click Page Borders
Change Case-Change Case command in the
HOME Tab allows you to change the case of the characters in the text without having to
retype them. Change all the selected text to UPPER CASE, Lower Case, Toggle Case,
Sentence Case and Capitalized each word Case.

Orientation:- You can choose either portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) orientation for
all or part of your document.
