By Train:
There are 3 trains from Delhi:
Ranikhet Express at 22:00 from Delhi Station, reaching
Kathgodam at 5:00 AM
Sampark Kranti at 16:00, reaching Kathgodam at 23:00; and
Shatabdi from New Delhi Station at 6:20 AM, reaching
Kathgodam at 11:45 AM.
Trains are also available from Lucknow. There is a direct train from
Mumbai to Lalkua (junction) - two stations before Kathgodam.
By Taxi/Bus:
Buses and Taxis (private & shared) are available in the early
morning from Rishikesh to Kausani.
For Kausani from Kathgodam also, private & shared taxis are
available after the arrival of every train.
By Air:
The nearest airport is Pantnagar and the second nearest is Bareilly.
