b. identify the action verbs being used in a sentence and being showed in

cards.
create sentences using action verbs.

“ACTION WORD OR VERBS”

- A verb is a word that describes an


action.

EXAMPLES:
The teacher will flash pictures that
shows an action.

1. A girl who is crying.


2. Children that are running
3. A boy who is reading.
4. A boy kicking a ball.
5. Girls playing jumping jack

D. Enrichment Activity
(The class will be divided into two
groups and they we be having an
activity entitled “CHARADES” One
student will act the chosen word from
dora’s bag pack without speaking,
and the other students will guess
what the pupil is doing.

For our next activity you will


underline the action word shown in
the pictures.

E. EVALUATION
The learner’s will be given a
worksheet wherein they will encircle
the action words being used in the
sentence.
1. The dog barks loudly at the
boy.
2. The children play happily in the
park.
3. My mom cooks delicous pasta
for dinner.
4. The bird sings a beautiful song.
5. We read exciting stories in
class.
6. The hungry bear eats berries.
7. The car drives down the street.
8. The bird sings a sweet song
9. The sun shines brightly.
10. The cat sleeps on the mat

B. Match the action words with


their corresponding images.

IV. ASSIGNMENT
Directions: Make at least 5 simple sentence using action verb.
Example: Leah is dringking water.
