Rounds: Eligibility:
9 Rounds The tournament is open for all players.
Appeals Committee:
An Appeals Committee will be formed during the technical meeting.
The tournament will be conducted as per the latest FIDE laws of the chess
Protests: Protests, if any against the decision fo the arbiter shall be made in writing with a protest
fee Rs. 1000/- (One thousand only) within 10 minutes of the incident. The protest fee is refundable only if the
protest is upheld. The decision of the appeals committee on all protest shall be final and binding.
Interpretation: For interpretation of the rules and deciding any point not covered by the rules, the dicision
of the tournament committee shall be final and binding.
Withdrawals: A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the Chief Arbiter in writing.
One player will be given one (higher) prize only.
For age category prizes: Players are eligible only for prizes in their own age category.

The tournament will be conducted as per latest FIDE Laws of Chess


Electronic devices are prohibited: Players are not allowed to bring mobile phones or any electronic
devices and wear any type of wrist watch of the same found during the game the game liable to lose.
Parents and Accompanying persons are not allowed inside the tournament hall.
No participant will leave the tournament venue before the prize distribution function without the
permission of the organizer. Otherwise his/her prize and certificate will be forfeited.
Organizer has the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any reason.
ACCOMODATION AND FOOD: Participants are requested to arrange their own accommodation and
meals. There are many affordable options available near the venue.
