a range of powerful V8 engines, advanced automatic transmission,
and chassis dynamics that balance grip and handling with comfort

The latest generation 219kW 4.2 naturally aspirated V8, and the
supercharged 306kW 4.2 V8 of the XKR, both balance effortless
performance with superb refinement. So from the outright power

The strength of both these V8 engines is matched by the seamless

available at all engine speeds, providing instant throttle response,

The rigid aluminium structure is a superb platform for the suspension,

and is the key to XKR’s exceptional ride, handling and agility.
Increased diameter front brake discs, dedicated suspension tuning
and revised steering settings further improve the chassis dynamics
and enhance driver involvement and control.

CATS (Computer Active Technology Suspension) is engineered

by analysing road conditions and continuously adjusting suspension
settings via electronically controlled dampers.
Trac DSC (Dynamic Stability Control with 3 setting levels) is designed to
intervene in demanding driving situations by applying braking to individual
wheels and reducing engine torque. The system helps control oversteer and
understeer, and can improve traction and acceleration. Trac DSC also offers
an alternative DSC setting for surfaces such as deep snow, sand or gravel.
