Rules and Regulations

1. Basketball

 Team Composition: 5 players per team on the court; unlimited substitutions.


 Scoring: 2 points (inside the arc), 3 points (outside the arc), 1 point (free throw).
 Game Duration: Four quarters (10 or 12 minutes each, depending on the league).
 Shot Clock: 24 seconds to attempt a shot.
 Key Violations: Traveling, double dribble, backcourt violation, shot clock violation.
 Fouls: Personal, team, and technical fouls. Free throws are awarded for certain fouls.
 Timeouts: Used for strategy, limited in number.

2. Table Tennis

 Players: Singles (1 vs. 1) or doubles (2 vs. 2).


 Scoring: First to reach 11 points with a 2-point lead wins the game; matches are typically
best of 5 or 7 games.
 Serve: Ball must be tossed at least 6 inches and struck behind the end line.
 Let: A serve hitting the net and landing correctly is replayed.
 Rotation: Player’s alternate serves every 2 points, except in deuce (10-10) when serves
alternate every point.
 Equipment: Paddle must meet ITTF standards; the ball is 40mm in diameter.

3. Sepak Takraw

 Team Composition: 3 players per team on the court.


 Scoring: First to 21 points (or 15 in deciding sets), with a 2-point lead, wins the set; best
of 3 sets.
 Service: The server uses the foot to kick the ball into play from the service circle.
 Gameplay: Players can touch the ball with their feet, head, knee, chest, and shoulders.
 Touches: Maximum of 3 touches before returning the ball over the net.
 Violations: Hitting the net, exceeding 3 touches, or the ball touching the ground.

4. Volleyball

 Team Composition: 6 players per team on the court; substitutions allowed.


 Scoring: Rally scoring system; first to 25 points with a 2-point lead wins a set; matches
are best of 5 sets.
 Serve: Server must stay behind the end line and hit the ball over the net.
 Hits: Teams may hit the ball up to 3 times before sending it over the net.
 Rotations: Players rotate clockwise when gaining the serve.
 Violations: Double touch, carrying the ball, stepping on the centerline, or hitting the net.

5. Badminton

 Players: Singles (1 vs. 1) or doubles (2 vs. 2).


 Scoring: Rally scoring to 21 points; players must win by 2 points; matches are best of 3
games.
 Service: Serve diagonally into the opposite service court, below the waist.
 Rally: Ends when the shuttlecock hits the ground, a player commits a fault, or the
shuttlecock lands out of bounds.
 Faults: Hitting the net, shuttlecock landing out, or double hits.
 Equipment: Rackets and shuttlecocks must meet official standards.
