Subject : 2023 PASUC ANNUAL CONVENTION

Date : July 13, 2023

The 2023 PASUC Annual Convention, organized by the Philippine Association of State
Universities and Colleges, will take place from August 9 to 11, 2022, at the SMX Convention
Center Manila in Pasay City.

Centered around the theme “Fostering Innovation and Collaboration in SUCs Towards
Increasing Competitiveness and Sustainability”, this year’s PASUC convention endeavors to
establish an inclusive platform where diverse stakeholders can foreground different
perspectives and engage in collaborative discussions. This three-day event will explore various
approaches to enhance SUC programs and initiatives, with a particular focus on Innovation,
Knowledge Creation, Intellectual Capital, Strategic Partnership, and Multi-level Collaboration,
all integral in increasing competitiveness and sustainability. The program will feature
distinguished speakers from government and partner agencies.

In this regard, all SUC Presidents and Officers-in-Charge are invited to attend, together with
the Vice-Presidents and/or Chancellors and Vice-Chancellors, Campus Executive Directors/
Campus Administrators, Deans and Directors, Faculty Regents/Trustees, and HR Officers.

This is a live-out event and a registration fee of six thousand pesos (PhP6,000.00) per
participant will be charged to cover meals, conference kit, and other administrative expenses.
Travel and accommodation expenses shall be charged against the respective SUC local funds,
following the usual accounting and auditing rules and procedures.

To secure slots and participation, early confirmation is highly encouraged. Participants must

remitted in advance to PASUC via Account No. 0572-1053-00, Landbank of the Philippines -
East Avenue branch.

The registration booth will open at 7:00 AM on August 9th, and the opening ceremonies will
commence at 9:30 AM. The closing ceremonies will take place at 12:30 PM on August 11th.
