A) Earthwork
1 Excavation for land formation in existing soil of all types, including soft / hard rock etc. manually or 206 Cum
mechanically including dressing the section to required grade, camber, slopes and side slopes,
removing the excavated, not required material off site and disposing the same at site within cluster 1
and location approved by EIC , stacking and or spreading the rest of the material as directed,
dewatering, and all necessary precautions against land slides, wherever required etc. complete

2 Excavation for land formation in Hard murrum, broken rock etc. manually or mechanically including 481 Cum
dressing the section to required grade, camber, slopes and side slopes, removing the excavated, not
required material off site and disposing the same at site within cluster 1 and location approved by
EIC , stacking and or spreading the rest of the material as directed, dewatering, and all necessary
precautions against land slides, wherever required etc. complete.

3 Backfilling in footing, plinth, floors and other areas with non compactible granular soil (murrum of 337 Cum
approved quality) using approved material from cutting on site (available
material) in layers of not more than 23cm in thickness before
compaction, including levelling, watering and compaction by mechanical
means or manually to 95% of Standard Proctor density and as directed
by the Site Engineer Incharge etc complete.

4 Filling in plinth, floors and other areas with non compactible granular soil (murrum of approved 262 Cum
quality) using approved material from cutting on site or procured from outside in layers of not more
than 23cm in thickness before compaction, including levelling, watering and compaction by
mechanical means or manually to 95% of Standard Proctor density etc complete.

5 Providing, applying and carrying out Anti-termite treatment through approved applicator 348 Sqm.
according to the treatment specified by manufacturer, including spraying the chemical
solution at all levels as per Technical Specifications and as directed and to the satisfaction
of PM including guarantee for minimum 10 years.

Mode of Measurement : The building area at plinth level will be considered for payment.

6 Providing & laying 230mm thick Rubble Soling or 230 thick metal packing of oversize metal 3
(generally of 50mm) in two layers compacted by plater vibrator for base preperation & below the
plinth etc. to receive the concrete / or like surface including filling of voids with stone chips / broken
rubble etc. screened with murum, rolling, compacting with manual/ mechanical means, including
watering, packing etc. all as approved by the engineer
Mode of Measurement : The building area at plinth level will be considered for payment.

B) Concrete
1 Providing, machine mixing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) of Grade M15 with
Minimun Cement content 240kg/cum for foundation, rafts and levelling course & Parking
Floor etc.; including compacting, curing, required shuttering and its removal, dewatering
where required, cleaning, preparing surfaces, junctions, etc.; complete at all depths and
leads as per the drawing and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. Size of
aggregate to be as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for intended thickness.

a) PCC M15- Below Footing, tie beam 48 Cum

b) PCC M15- at plinth 50 Cum
2 Providing and laying Ready-Mix Concrete in structural members using Grade M25 with
minimum cement content 340kg/cum or as per approved mix design including lifting,
material transport, compaction,vibrating, levelling & curing. The rate shall include ply
shuttering (form finish) with adjustable acro spans or cuplock system
formwork,providing recesses to slabs, walls and columns and placing and securing
properly within the form-work sleeves and/or openings in slabs, embedments such as bolts,
insert plates, corner protection angles, plates, anchors etc. (embedments shall be paid
separately under respective items) construction joints, sunk slabs, cantilever slabs etc. to
the required shape, size and slope as shown in drawings.etc. complete including cost of all
materials, admixtures etc. including mixing, transportation, placement in position for all
leads and lifts at all levels.
-The rate of concrete shall include all necessary measures during construction and post-
construction to be taken to make the concrete water-tight and crack free. Any cost towards
making concrete water-tight and crack free shall be part of the quotation and no extra claim
shall be entertained to achieve the same. - (concrete rate with 1.5% watsge)
-Reinforcement works will be measured under respective items.

C) Reinforcement Work
Providing , Straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, and binding of Reinforcement bars
of grade Fe 500 for all kinds of concrete members (structural or non-structural) as per the drawing,
providing and tying adequately with approved RCC cover block for keeping specified concrete cover
to reinforcement bars, etc complete, as per the technical specifications at all heights and levels with
all leads and lifts and as directed.
-Binding shall be done with double strand annealed wire-18 swg.
-The rate shall include cost of cover blocks, binding wire, chairs, spacers, chairs for Conventional/PT
tendons, PT bursting link reinforcement and pins to be provided as per specifications and will not be
measured separately for payment. Quantity of steel as per drawing and with authorized overlaps
only shall be measured and paid for. (rate with 3% wastage)
