ABSTRACT
In this digital world many people are into the online platforms. One of the main
reasons for online platforms is to get fast and efficient products and services like
shopping gifts on special occasions, getting faster healthcare services. In a daily life
people take many decisions like “What should I eat today?”, “which place should I
go?”, “which gift should I present to my friend?” and many more. There are plenty
of choices and very little time to explore them all. So, for recommending products
and services we need to design a recommendation system that suggests the user
something that fits their interest and likes of user’s usage. To implement this project,
we will be using the “React” to gather the data, “AI” to generate the products and
service suggestions, “Node.js to enabling real-time suggestions that are both
personalized and readily available to buy. This innovative project combines AI,
interactivity, and e-commerce for selecting a best product or a service. In this project
we will be using an interactive questionary built with React to collect the key details
about the recipient’s personality traits, interests, hobbies, likes, dislikes, money you
wanted to spend on that product or service etc. Using AI, the collected data is sent
to the ChatGPT as input, it generates product ideas and provides the explanation on
why this product is a good match to the recipient. Node.js bridge the gap between
generated ideas and actual products present to buy, it integrates with retail platforms
like Amazon, Meesho, Flipkart and many other service platforms, it includes the
filtering capabilities to select the product with user defined availability and budgets.
Users can modify the data or provide the additional details to the existing ones. By
combining the advanced AI capabilities with user friendly interface and real-time
products available, the Personalized Recommendation services or products saves the
time and provides ease of purchase.it redefines the art of recommendation thinking,
making it meaningful, efficient, and enjoyable.
Key Words: Recommendation system, React, Node.js, AI, Personalized.
Literature Survey
For personalized product suggestions and service recommendations, the research in
recommendation systems spans various domains. Below is a list of prominent authors
and their contributions in this specific context:
In these years, according to Deloitte’s consumer report in 2023, higher-income people
tend to have 33 % additional spending on experience-based product. This insight reveals
that customers have transferred their attentions on products’ functionality to
accompanying services significantly. [1]
In this paper, we developed a recommendation system which enables bidirectional
communication between the user and system using an utility range-based
product recommendation algorithm in order to provide more dynamic and personalized
recommendations.[2]
Recommender systems are designed to automatically generate personalized suggestions of
products/services to customers.[3]
the service for customers based on Customer-product Interaction life cycle (CILC) is a new
innovation service, which is gradually evolved from the pursuit of general functional
requirements of products to the smart product service system (SPSS) based on customer
participation in product manufacturing and customer-product interaction.[4]
Nowadays, Electronic Commerce (EC) provides a new gateway for customers shopping
online. One of the most significant advantages offered by online shops is convenience.[5]
Recommendation agents programmed to “learn” customer preferences and make
personalized recommendations of products and services are considered a useful tool for
targeting customers individually.[6]
Intelligent e-government services with personalized recommendation techniques can
provide a solution for this problem.[7]
the traditional recommendation algorithms cannot meet user's fast and accurate
recommended requirements in the IoT environment.[8]
The semantic personalized recommendation system system comprises four phases: deep
processing, User History, and Content Behaviors, Ranking and Similarity. It is composed
of two main constituents: one for learning and adapting user past search behavior and
another for generating user desirable contents trends.[9]
The Web creates excellent opportunities for businesses to provide personalized online
services to their customers. Recommender systems aim to automatically generate
personalized suggestions of products/services to customers (businesses or individuals).[10]
