In Phase 2, our strategic work was obedience to

the Santa Cruz Prophecy by everyone – by every
2
member of CMFI. And God has led us and it worked. We
started out in a terrible spiritual condition, but those
who obeyed the Santa Cruz Prophecy got into the ‘who
is who’ circle in CMCI, as did Paul Bello and many
others. On the other hand, some of the wonderful men
of God who have been in our ministry for the past 40
years, but who did not obey the Santa Cruz prophecy,
have kemark wilting.
God has brought us into Phase 3, and has called
us to the making of disciples in the context of house
churches. He has called us to have house churches that
are disciple-making centres. Also, God is calling us to
make disciples with a training programme, which is The
Bertoua Message, within the house churches. If we
want to do strategic work, we must come back to our
way of thinking, as well as to the execution of the work
and the making of disciples. Our thinking, our
programmes, our institutions, our Ministry, need to be
run according to the paradigms disciple making.
If there are some super spiritual people who do
not return to the house churches, and who do not obey
The Bertoua Message, we have seven years ahead of
us; they will be on the periphery of the Ministry – just
like many big leaders who did not obey The Santa Cruz
Prophecy are on the periphery of the Ministry. God
builds with those who obey. Whatever your position,
whatever your title, if we do not get back to house

3
churches and to this simple program of growth that we
have been given, I would like to promise you, without
hating you, that you have five years to be on the
periphery, whoever you are now.

God has given to us a normalisation programme,

and God has given to us a growth programme, and a
context, and a unit: the house church. That is our
strategic work, where we are now.

PREFACE

Dear brother, dear sister,

6
In 2008, the Lord gave us The Bertoua Message as the
pathway to revival for every believer, for a return to
their first love for the Lord Jesus Christ. From the
various elements of The Bertoua Message, we have
elaborated 31 Teaching Modules to help you enter into
the effective application of this instruction from the
Lord.

The Teaching Module “DELIVERANCE FROM ALL

SIN” is the first among the 31 Teaching Modules from
The Bertoua Message.

THE LORD’S SPECIAL MESSAGE TO ME

THE YEAR 2009 IS THE YEAR OF REVIVAL IN CHRISTIAN
MISSIONARY FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL
THE PATHWAY TO REVIVAL

7
My son, the year 2009 in Christian Missionary
Fellowship International is the year of revival. Each believer
is to return to his or her first love for Me. This return to the
first love for Me will include freedom from all sin, freedom
from all love of self, freedom from all love of the world,
freedom from the love of everything that is in the world,
freedom from all falsehood, freedom from all sexual
immorality, freedom from all love of gain, freedom from a
divided heart, freedom from self-centeredness, freedom
from debts, freedom from greed, freedom from laziness
and freedom from goal-lessness.

12 Freedomfrom laziness
11 Freedom from greed

10 Freedom from debts

9 Freedom from self

-centeredness

8 Freedom from a divided heart

7 Freedom from all love of gain

6 Freedom from all sexual immorality

5 Freedom from all falsehood

4 Freedom from the love of everything

that is in the world

3 Freedom from all love of the world

2 Freedom from all love of self

11 Freedom from all sin

8
13 Freedom from goal-lessness

9
The above thirteen things and attitudes are to be
uprooted from the heart and the life of everyone in the
Ministry. This is the first part of revival; the first part of the
return to the first love for Me. The return to the first love for
the Lord Jesus Christ will include faithfulness in becoming and
being a disciple of the Lord Jesus, praying alone, daily dynamic
encounters with God, Bible reading, reading of Christian
literature, retreats for spiritual progress, praying with others,
giving to God, fasting, soul-winning, making of disciples for
Christ, accountability, being a faithful member of a local
church, serving the Lord in the domain of His call on your life,
living in the centre of God’s will in all things and doing
everything for the exclusive glory of the Lord Jesus .

10
11
Although the entire year is set aside for revival, if
the saints cooperate with Me and, through
intensive and extensive prayer and fasting, move
Heaven to act urgently, the revival will be upon
all the saints in March, and April to December will
see an unprecedented move in evangelism, soul-
winning and church planting. I expect hundreds of
saints worldwide to carry out 21 to 40-day fasts
between January and March to accelerate
personal revival and revival of all the saints in the
movement.
There will be revival!
There will be revival!!
There will be revival!!!
There will be revival!!!!
There will be revival!!!!!
There will be revival!!!!!!
There will be revival!!!!!!!

Bertoua, 21/12/08.

IV. UNBURDENING ONESELF
TO RUN THE RACE

Beloved, we are happy that you have

completed the theoretical part of the first teaching
module of The Bertoua Message on Deliverance
from all sin. Since deliverance from sin is not all
about theory, we hereby present to you the
practical part. Each believer has to acquire a book
we call “the sin book” in which he will confess to
God in writing the various sins he has committed,
ask and receive from Him forgiveness.

Below is a list of burdens, of sins that easily

entangles and hinder us from pursuing our
heavenly vocation. We have grouped these sins in 9
categories (9 Fs).

DETAILED PRAYER ON THE 9 “F”

136
Read Hebrews 12:1 – 2; Philippians 4:5 – 7.
Study the list carefully, considering each burden
and each sin (from 1 – 141). If you find anything on the
list in your life:
a) Acknowledge its presence in your life and repent of
its manifestations in writing, in your sin book.
b) Ask and receive from the Lord the power to hate
its illegal presence in your life.
c) Uproot it from your heart and throw it far away.
d) Carry out the necessary restitution and never allow
it to come back into your heart and life.
N.B.: Do this for each of the 141 burdens (weights) or
sins here below.

CONCLUSION
At the end of this teaching module, it is clear from
the above that man’s heart is of paramount importance
to God. The condition of a man’s heart determines who
he is, what he does, what he will be, and what his fate
will be in eternity. It is therefore essential for the
disciple to take care to produce an honest and good
heart that bears fruit, that reaches maturity in order to
satisfy the heart of God.
In our growth programme, The Message of
Bertoua, after the first teaching module (Deliverance
from All Sin) which we have just completed comes the

second entitled ‘Becoming and Remaining a Disciple of
the Lord Jesus’. We advise you to continue with this
second teaching module on ‘The Message of
Bertoua’ based on the book, “Discipleship at any
cost.” May God bless you abundantly!!
