Communication Engineering at IIT Dhanbad. I have done projects in web-development, weather-web

Circuit-A-Way competition. I am interested in emerging trends in the field of electronics, stock
market trading and geopolitics.
2. What is your greatest accomplishment?
I had deep interest in stock trading but I don’t know how to start it. One of my friends introduced me
to opinion trading on bitcoin and I lost my first investment of RS.400 in a second. It seemed like it
was not my cup of tea but I didn’t gave up. I had created my own strategies and understood the logic
behind price movements and finally I made profit of 10,000 with and investment of Rs.500 within
10days.
3. What is your motivation factor?
Money is my driving force. I have experienced many situations where I was in short of money. So, I
had learned every skill that came on my way and I believed that this process of learning skills will
make my path towards earning money a lot easier.
4. What is your greatest strength?
I am adaptive to dynamic environment. I can adapt to many challenging situations. I learned this by
working with different groups of people, travelling and speaking with others. Apart from that I am a
good communicator. I used to simplify complex topics and explain them to others and it comes from
good listening and understanding the problems of others.
5. What do you consider to be your weakness and how do you overcome it?
I have a weakness of not trusting people for a long time. I used to believe that it would take time to
understand a person completely and until then it would be better not to believe them. It used to
delay the projects that I have taken. I have been working on this issue by seeking professional help,
challenging my negative thoughts, and taking small steps of trust with people I respect and admire. I
have also learned that this weakness can help me be more cautious in some situations. I want to
overcome this weakness with time and practice.
6. What are your pet peeves?
One of my pet peeves is when people don’t care about environment while throwing plastic materials
and others without proper disposal. I think it shows a lack of care for the environment and the
community. I always try to be mindful of my waste and dispose of it properly. Other one is when
people interrupt others while they are speaking. I think it shows a lack of listening skills and empathy.
I always try to be attentive and respectful when someone is sharing their thoughts or opinions.
7. Why did you choose Engineering and specifically this group?
Listening to the stories of Visvesvaraya and Nobel laureate C.V Raman, I grew interest in science.
Thus, I chose engineering to pursue my passion towards science and technology. I had chosen
electronics and communication engineering branch as it provides a wide range of opportunities in
hardware as well as software domains.
8. Write about a challenge you have faced and how did you overcome it?
I was participating for robot war competition held at our institute and my team of 3 members were
responsible for designing BMS (Battery Management System) of robot. One of my friends left the
project due to sudden demise of one of his relatives. So, I didn’t recruited any one in place of him
thinking that they may not give best out them. As the deadline of project was in just 2 days. I have
prepared a robust plan to learn new concepts and finally we were able deliver the product ahead of
the competition and I still remember that we had slept for just 5 hours for the entire 2 days. We
received a great level appreciation for our work.
9.How do you prioritize your work?
I will prioritize my work based on urgency, importance and complexity. I will start with the tasks
which are urgent and require immediate action. Then I focus on the project which are important and
contribute to the long-term goals of the company. At last, I will work upon tasks which require a
great deal of time and resources. My prioritization skills helped me manage my workload effectively
and avoid stress.
10. What do you believe makes a successful team?
I believe that successful teams built on collaboration, communication, shared goals, trust and
adaptability. Collaboration and communication will help to work efficiently. Open and honest
feedback from teammates used to learn from mistakes and resolve conflicts. Team members with
shared goals work together to tackle problems easily. Trust is the foundation of successful teams.
When team members trust each other, they feel comfortable to share their thoughts and work upon
their short comings. A successful team can adapt to the changes, learn from their mistakes and
adjust their strategies as needed.
