Life is hard, I should know. I am 150,000 years old, I have lived through the roughest
times known to anyone, in Germany I am known as Konig drache, I have many other
names(.)But my true name is bengel. I am a futslang lung. I have guarded treasures since I was
100 years old. 78 years ago, it was 1945, I was in charge of protecting the ancient treasure
below castle Itter in Tyrol, Austria. There was a great battle between the american army, with
french vip generals and a platoon of german troops. That was my last castle before I returned
home to my native china and said goodbyes before my great journey to see the world and all
the people and places along with meeting up with some old friends.
I made my way across the Pacific Ocean and to the americas. I went from Chile to Brazil
and experienced the rainforest and how nice it was the moisture, how it soaked into your scales,
but how it was not cold, mildly warm and all of the creatures are so much more cool than the
animals around Scholls itter. But the animals here are also much more dangerous and if you’re
not careful they’ll eat you up.
After my trip to the rainforest I started heading north towards Seattle and then inland to
the north cascades national park up by the border with Canada. There is a very special place I
want to see while I’m there. It is a lake in the north cascades. But before that I need to meet an
old friend. His name was John lee. He had been the American soldier in charge of the defense
of castle Itter and was now living in Bellingham Washington. I was traveling to say hi to him. On
my way I was swimming and I hit a huge cargo ship and it started sinking. So I had to go and
rescue the crew and then get them back to safety. Then I started heading back up the coast. It
took about 2 days to reach Seattle. Then it became super tricky to get to bellingham and over
land to the north cascades. P
I found Lee at about midnight. He was sitting out on the beach and reading by the
moonlight. As I crawled out of the ocean he looked up and saw me and a huge grin spread
across his face. He was reading a book titled the desert fox. It was about field marshal Erwin
Rommel, who had served in Africa and in Europe. He was one of the best generals in the world.
But had been executed because he had committed treason to Germany in ww2.
He rushed up and said what took you so long?
I replied I had to teach another young chap the ropes before I left. I also came from
South America. And did you hear about that ship that was sunk off the coast?
“Lee replied, yah, was that you?”
It was me, replied bengel, the ships are so much harder to see now, and it didn’t even
have its lights on.
That’s illegal, replied lee!
Yep, the authorities ought to find it out eventually when they try to find footage of it. But
now we need to start moving before daybreak. Oh yeah, let's see you in castle Itter uniform.
Bring your helmet and every medal you got. Bengel said. We are going to see a lil chap named
tidal wave and give him some advice on life.
With that, Lee jumped on the Bengal's back and they flew toward the north cascades.
There it was the hidden lake he had guarded 10,000 years before. There in the lake sat
a little dragon without a name. He had been hidden there by a friend a few thousand years
before. This Was the greatest treasure in the world. He would live for a hundred thousand years.
The legend will be created to tell the stories of the greatest dragons in the world. He would be
one of the oldest dragons in the world. Much older than the average life that is about 1000
years.
This is the future of dragon kind, says bengel.
He will live for hundreds of thousands of years.
We must teach him the ways of the greats, said bengal.
