COMPARE AND CONTRAST (3 items x 5 points): List three (3) types of accommodation in the
Accommodation column. Then, present the features that differ them from other types of accommodation in
the Highlights column.

ACCOMMODATION HIGHLIGHTS
1. HOTEL These are the oldest and most typical types of lodging.

Hotels can range in size. They may be privately held

companies or be a component of a hotel chain. Hotels may

be a component of a vacation resort.

2.PENSIONS Pensions often serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and

occasionally even tea, in contrast to bed and breakfasts,

which are more common in the United States. Instead than

paying for the room and each meal individually, customers

choose a package that includes overnight lodging, breakfast,

lunch, and dinner.

3.CHALETS Chalets can be either self-catering or catered and are often

found at ski/mountain resorts. They frequently come with a

personal chef. Travelers in a group love staying in chalets.

There are many sizes and seating capacities for chalets.
