Following inspection activities are carried out of new internal gas pipeline for PNG transmission and
observations/findings are given below:
1. Walk around inspection of entire offered pipeline of 40 NB was done starting from the Outlet of MRS till gas
consumed as per IGL Specifications & PNGRB guidelines and found in conformity to the requirement.
2. Total pipeline length from Installed IGL Skid to end point is about 49.7 meters.
3. All pipe length is above ground and supported through building wall by steel clamp support for above ground
provided are sufficient in quantity.
4. Walk around inspection carried out for pipeline from IGL skid to end point for welding works on random basis &
found satisfactory.
5. Pipeline connected with IGL Ltd. skid with flange joint which is already installed.
(Refer Isometric Indicative layout).
6. Installed Valves serial no. verified which is mentioned in the reviewed TC’s.
7. Pneumatic testing of pipeline for 04 hours, on 6.2 kg/cm², on 26/12/2024 witnessed and no leakage or pressure
drop is observed.
