Food adjectives to describe texture
Food adjectives to describe tastes
Crunchy - Firm and makes a loud noise when
Salty - Tastes of salt. it is eaten. For example, potato chips.

Bitter - Having a sharp often unpleasant taste Crispy: Slight crunch at first but then gets

peppers. be eaten. It can be good or bad. Chewy
Savoury - Used to describe salty or spicy foods cookies are good. Chewy steak is bad.

Rich - Rich food has a lot of butter, cream, or Creamy - A smooth and rich texture that
eggs in it. usually comes from the incorporation of dairy.
Refreshing - Light in taste such as cucumber Fluffy - A light and airy texture.

Slow – exhibiting or marked by low speed

Unfriendly – not friendly

Rude – rough, lack of training or skill
