Read the text. CHRISTMAS WISH
It's Christmas Eve, and the snow is falling softly.
Emily snuggles under her blankets, excitement tingling in
her toes. She has one very important job to do -
write a letter to Santa!
She carefully picks up her red crayon. "Dear
Santa," she begins, "This year, I've been extra good..."
She thinks and tries to remember. She helped her mom
decorate the tree, sang carols with her father, and even
shared her toys with her little brother.
"I would love a cuddly cat for Christmas," she
writes, drawing a picture of a fluffy cat with long ears.
"But mostly," she adds, "I wish for my family to be
happy and healthy. We can all be together and watch
Christmas movies, just like we always do."
With the biggest hope, Emily folds the letter and
places it under the tree. As she drifts off to sleep,
she imagines Santa reading her wish, his big belly
jiggling with laughter.
Christmas morning arrives, and Emily rushes into
the living room. Her eyes widen in delight. There, under
the twinkling lights, sits a giant box! She tears it open,
and out pops... a fluffy cat with long ears!
Emily takes him up in a hug, tears of joy
streaming down her face. He licks her nose, and she
knows this is the best Christmas ever.
But as Emily sit down with
her cat and watches Christmas
movies with her family, she
realizes something. The best part
of Christmas isn't the presents.
It's the love, the laughter, and
the warm feeling of being together.
And that's a wish that comes
true every year.

Hi Devi,
Merry Christmas! I'm writing to tell you all about my
amazing Christmas!
First, we decorated our tree with sparkly ornaments
and colourful lights. It looked magical! Then, on Christmas
Eve, we had a delicious dinner with roast turkey and all
the trimmings.
After dinner, we opened presents! I got the coolest
Barbie doll ever! I can't wait to play with it!
Christmas morning was even more exciting! We woke
up early to find stockings filled with treats and toys. We
played games all day, laughed a lot, and enjoyed spending
time with our family.
