Title of the Program or Course: CHILDREN’S MONTH CELEBRATION

Rationale:

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10661, the National Children's Month (NCM)
or also known as the “Buwan ng mga Bata” in the Philippines is annually
celebrated every November to commemorate the adoption of the United Nations
Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) on 20 November 1989.
This year’s theme “Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered: Ensuring the Life for
All!,” emphasized the importance to the healthcare and nutrition of Filipino
children.”
The children’s welfare who suffered from abuse, poverty, natural
calamities and violence are focused on this annual celebration to offer help to
those children. The children should be belonged in families, where they can be
nurtured and loved. This action supports children from all walks of life.

Gender and Development Mainstreaming

The technical working group of this activity ensures that gender


perspectives and needs are always considered in the design, implementation,
monitoring and evaluation of the training. Likewise, it seeks to ensure that
participants (regardless of gender preference) have equitable access to, and
benefit from, society’s resources and opportunities.

Minimum Health Standards (MHS)

The participants and facilitators shall observe the proper health protocols
mandated by the IATF.
