WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENT

(REGULAR) & SENIOR RESIDENT AGAINST GDMO FOR ONE YEAR
Note: Periodical Interview on 1st Monday & Tuesday of every alternate month, for next 6 calendar months
shall be conducted for the various vacancies in r/o Senior Residents (Regular) & Senior Residents against
GDMO for One year as per the requirement arising. The vacancy position shall be uploaded on the website
seven days before the date of interview. In case of a holiday falling on 1 st Monday & Tuesday of every
alternate month, the schedule of conducting of interview shall be on next working day by default.
Corrigendum whenever issued will also be displayed on website.

Age:
Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview (Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PWD
and all others as per central government rule.) OBC candidates are required to
submit latest OBC Certificate as per Central Govt. Proforma (not more than one year
old) from the date of interview.
Qualification/Eligibility & Emoluments:

For Senior Residents in Broad Specialities:

1. MBBS and PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized

university.

For Senior Residents in Super Specialities:

1. a) MBBS and PG Degree or Diploma in concerned super specialty from

recognized university.
b) If candidates possessing PG degree in the concerned super specialty are not
available, those possessing PG degree in Medicine will be considered for
medical super specialties departments such as gastroenterology, nephrology
and cardiology etc. Similarly, candidates possessing PG degree in Surgery will
be considered for Surgical super specialties departments such as Pediatric
Surgery, Plastic Surgery, CTVS Onco-Surgery, etc.
2. Emoluments: As per rules applicable.
3. In case candidate who is selected for Senior Resident (3 year)
resigns/terminates his/her contract within 09 months of commencement of the
contract with or without prior notice, the amount of Rs. 30000/- deposited as
Security Money will be forfeited.
4. In case candidate who is selected for Senior Resident against GDMO (1
year) resigns/terminates his/her contract within 03 months of commencement of
the contract with or without prior notice, the amount of Rs. 30,000/- deposited
as Security Money will be forfeited.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Final No. of vacancies may vary.

2. Candidates who have completed 3 years Senior Residency from any Govt.
Institute need not appear for interview.
3. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in interview.

4. The candidate who is in Service for a tenure of more than or equal to 1

year should submit “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of
interview.
5. The selected candidate will have to furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an
amount of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) drawn in favor of “ESI
Saving Fund Account No. 2” payable at New Delhi, towards security deposit.
6. 03 (Three) posts out of total vacant position will be reserved for person with
disability (PWD, OL, OA, ND) in r/o Senior Residents (Regular, 3 Years) and
02(Two) posts out of total vacant position will be reserved for person with
disability (PWD, OL, OA, ND) in r/o Senior Residents (1 Year Against GDMO).
7. The candidates who wish to appear for both Senior Resident (3 Years) and
Senior Resident against GDMO (1 year) posts, shall be required to apply
separately for each post.
8. In case of non-appearance of eligible candidates against the advertised
category, the vacancy may be filled by available SR candidates which may be
renewed for another 39 days or till the post is filled in the next regular interview
by eligible candidate whichever is earlier.

All eligible and Interested candidates may appear for walk-in-interview along with all the
testimonials in original and their one self-attested copy as per schedule of “Walk-in-

interview” on the date & time mentioned against their respective specialty.

Documents required: -

1. Age proof

2. MBBS Certificate.

3. Two Photographs (PP Size).

4. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates. O B C candidates are required to

submit latest OBC Certificate as per Central Govt. Proforma, not more than one
year old from the date of Interview.

5. PG Degree/Diploma Certificate.

6. DMC Registration Certificate with MD/MS/DNB qualification.

7. No Objection Certificate from present employer, if applicable.

8. Experience Certificates, if applicable.

9. Income and Asset certificate from issuing Authority as per DOPT letter no.
36039/1/2019-Estt. (Res) dated 31st January, 2019 must be submitted for the
reservation for EWS Category.

10. EWS candidates are required to submit latest EWS Certificate as per Central
Govt. Proforma, not more than one year old from the date of Interview.

Application Fee: -

Demand draft of Rs. 300/-. In case of candidate belongs to SC/ST – Rs. 75/- (Non-
Refundable) drawn in favour of “ESIC Saving Fund Account No. 2” payable at New
Delhi, PWD and female candidates are exempted from payment of Fee.

*(OL- One Leg affected, OA- One Arm affected but coordinated movements of both
hands should be adequate. ND- Not identified suitable for PH)
