BADONG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

A NARRATIVE REPORT ON EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2022

Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 280 s. 2022, titled Earth Day Celebration
of DEPED Surigao del Sur Division. In every 22 nd day of April is a celebration of Earth
Day with its theme “Invest in our Planet”, that supports and protects the earth
from harmful causes.

The objectives of this celebration are able to encourage government employees,


students and private citizens to take concrete steps toward following more sustainable
practices, to show that financial decisions centered around the planet can be
prosperous in the future and to show respect and love for environmental concern and
conservation.

Anent to this matter, there will be a synchronize activities to be conducted such


as clean up drive, tree planting, and waste segregation in collaboration with the
students spearheaded by SGG Officers, YES-O Officers and the School Coordinators.
To achieve uniformity, everyone is encouraged to wear a touch of green on that day,
as we embody respect and love for the nature.

In support with this, Badong National High School held activities to increase the
awareness of the students on the importance of investing in our earth like waste
segregation, clean-up drive and tree planting in our environment. After the activities
conducted everyone was happy and proud for we were able to help our mother earth
breath in our own little ways.

PICTORIALS
The 2022 Earth Day Celebration of BNHS started with a short program participated by the faculty and staff headed by
our School Head- Emelda G. Crombie, SSG Officers, YES-O Club Officers, and Grade 7-12 students.

The presentation of yell by grade level for the acknowledgement of participants.

Registration of Participants facilitated by the SSG officers and Yes-O officers.


CLEAN- UP DRIVE
This activity facilitated by every adviser at their designated area after the short program conducted.

COVERED COURT & BACK PORTION OF SCHOOL STAGE- Grade 9 & 11 Students

SCHOOL ENTRANCE AND EXIT- GRADE 7, 8, 9 & 12 Students


TREE PLANTING

Planting of trees activity was proudly participated by Grade 10 students, Faculty and Staff and it has a great help to
let our earth breath.
WASTE SEGREGATION

BNHS Students with the SSG Officers did the waste segregation that help the surroundings clean and promote proper
waste disposal.
LANDSCAPING

SSG Officers did their part during the Earth Day Celebration and their task was the landscaping.
