C-MET invites eligible and highly motivated candidates for filling up the following temporary and time
bound positions under MeitY, New Delhi sponsored Project entitled “National Centre for Quantum
Accelerator Chip using Lithium Niobate (NCQAC) at IIT Kharagpur” at C-MET, Pune. The positions are purely
temporary and continuation during this period is subject to yearly review and satisfactory performance
of the incumbent. The position will be filled via Walk-in Interview on 10/01/2025 at C-MET Pune

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Registration for Walk-in-Interview: Between 09.00 AM. to 10.00 AM On 10/01/2025 at C-MET Pune
2. Kindly bring duly filled “Application Format” along with recent photograph, all necessary originals and
Xerox copies of documents for verification, project report / Dissertations on the date of Walk-in Interview
3. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per GOI norms.TA/DA will not be provided to attend interview.
4. Final Year students who have appeared/will appear for final examinations can also apply. However, if
selected the appointment will be done only if the candidate clears the qualifying examination and the
results are available at the time of joining for the post.
5. Nature of Position: The engagement to the above positions is purely temporary and time bound as
mentioned above.
6. Application Fee: Application fee is Rs. 50/- for Project Associate –I and Rs. 100/- for RA-II online to

7. Candidates must bring their original credentials, a copy of their master's thesis, a photo ID, their cast
certificates, the completed application form (attached below with a photo), and any other necessary
documentation for verification when they attend a walk-in interview. The candidate will be rejected if
they are unable to produce the necessary documentation for verification.
8. Only self-attested recent passport size photograph should be pasted in the appropriate place in the
application form.
9. Candidates working in Govt. /Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should bring ‘NOC’ from
their present employer.
10. Only short listed/screened-in candidates will be allowed to attend test/interview.
11. Leave: Casual leave 8 days in a Calendar year.
12. The selected candidates shall not have any legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment by
absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any further contractual engagement on termination
of the scheme/project.
13. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his / her
being declared medically fit as per the requirement of C-MET. C-MET reserves the right to cancel /
terminate the candidature at any point of time during the engagement process, if any wrong declaration,
misrepresentation or concealment is detected.
