1.4 Product labeling
To find out the PC software’s detailed designation and version number, proceed as follows:
2 The PC software
The functions of the instrument can be programmed directly via the instrument’s operating
and display elements (HMI) or by PC software.
This manual describes the programming of the PC software. For information on operating
the instrument via the HMI, refer to the User Manuals.
2.1 Introduction
The PC software is a communication & calibration software for the portable air samplers
MAS-100 NT and MAS-100 NT Ex.
The PC software is always provided free of charge together with an instrument or can be
downloaded from the manufacturer’s website www.mbv.ch.
The main scope of the PC software is programming the instrument and reporting the
sampling results. Templates for sampling plans and inspection protocols can be generated
easily.
The instrument can transfer up to 100 test results, which are allocated to up to 10 different
users, to the PC software for evaluation and reporting. For this, the instrument can be
connected to a PC by USB cable.
Sample and alarm logs can be read from the instrument and can be stored or printed to
guarantee for full traceability of the results.
Moreover, the PC software offers functions for service technicians for troubleshooting and
repair purposes. It also contains functions for calibration and adjustment of the instrument.
Reports can be configured in a wide range to meet the instrument owner’s needs.
