1.2. TANK DETAILS

1.2.1. Sheet Metal

Tank shell and dish ends manufacturing with 3.1 certified level according to EN 10204 past the
lamination control according to EN 10160; P355 NL1 sheet according to EN 10028-3 standard.

1.2.2. Manufacturing

• Manufacturer will have EN ISO 3834-2 document.

• The body segments of the tank will consist of one piece.

• After dished head manufactured, thickness measurement will be done and will be recorded.
1.2.2.1 Welding & Workmanship

Our company has EN ISO 3834-2 certificate in welder and welding management system. All welding
will be made by certified welders in accordance with the appropriate welding method with proven
accuracy.

1.2.2.2. Heat Treatment

Tank's dish ends stressed reliefed will be processed. At the same time, the computer output will be
automatically graphic on the paper and placed in the prepared quality file of the tank by each
process.

1.2.3. TESTS

1.2.3.1 RADIOGRAPHIC CONTROL

• The tank's welding seams will be controlled through the radiographic control according to
the design rules and standards.

• Radiographic test shall be carried out in accordance with standard.

• NDT Personnel will be certified by ASME.

• Radiographic test will be performed using high-precision, panoramic and linear x-ray devices.

1.2.3.2. PENETRANT TEST OR MAGNETIC PARTICLE TEST

• All weldings welds will be checked by penetrant test or magnetic particle test method
according to design standard by certified NDT personnel.

1.2.3.3.HYDROSTATIC TEST

• At the end of the tank manufacturing, hydrostatic test will be done according to the rules
and standards.

• Clean and tap water will be used during the hydrostatic test.

• The water temperature which will be used will not be less than below 7 °C.

• The hydrostatic test will be approved by an third party.If requested, CUSTOMER will be able to
supervise the test

• Following the hydrostatic test, inside and all internal pipes of the tank will be dehydrated.
1.2.3.4.LEAKAGE TEST

• Tanks, piping and instrument installation will be leakage tested with air according to
design rules and standards after hydrostatic test.
• During the leakage test, the joints will be checked with foam by Professional personel will be
withnessed supervisior from notified body.

1.2.4. PAINTING PROCESS

• The exterior surface of the tank will be cleaned so that no burrs, no oil and no dirt remain on
the surfaces.

• Following the cleaning works, sandblasting will be applied to obtain surface appearance of
SA2 ½ quality.

• Minimum surface roughness value will be Rz = 40 microns.

• The paint system to be applied on the outer surface of the tank will be as follows:
1. Epoxy based primer as first coat (80-100 micron dry film thickness)
2. Epoxy intermediate coat as second layer (80-100 micron dry film thickness)
3. Acrylic polyurethane topcoat as third layer (50-60 micron dry film thickness)
4. The total paint thickness will be in the range of 210 - 260 microns
5. The final color of the tank will be white (RAL 9016)

• Paint film thicknesses, pre-application curing times, and more, will follow the paint
manufacturer's recommendations

• The products of the brands which have proven quality with the references in marine and
industrial applications in paint application will be used; Sandblasting and painting will be
done with first class workmanship

• Liquid pipelines will be in white color and gas pipelines will be in yellow color.

1.2. TANK ACCESSORIES

• All accesories which used on the tank will be supplied and worldwide brand accesories will
be selected.

• Identification and sizing of accessories and installation locations will be compatible to

standards.
 • Any situation that puts safety and human health at risk will be considered when constructing
a tank installation.

• When designing accessories and installation, ease of maintenance, operation and

disassembly will be taken into account.

• All loading and unloading equipment, made of carbon steel and it will be positioned in the
side of the tank in a lockable armature cabinet.

1.4. OTHER POINTS TO CONSIDER

• The cover of the armature cabinet will be shock absorber. The shock absorbers will be
positioned so that they can be easily assembled and disassembled.

• Stainless steel locking system will be used on cover of the armature cabinet.

• All valves and equipments in the cabinet will be numbered.

• The P&ID and installation description will be installed where they can be seen in the tank
armature cabinet.

• The protection box made of steel sheet will be manufactured around the safety relief valves
and will be designed to prevent the collection of rainwater.

• 2 fire extinguisher cabinets with transparent windows, made of plastic will be installed on
the tank.
• There will be a sunshield on the tank.

• There will not be a catwalks and ladder on the tank.

• Reflectors,safety marking and labeling will be supplied by YILTEKS

• Surge plates will be cross type and disassemble. The surge plates will be designed so that
they can be taken out of the manhole when needed.

• Surge plates and surge plates connection plates will not be assemblied directly on the shell.

• The surge plates will be assemblied in doubling plates to be positioned on the tank shell.

• Surge plates assembly will be made with bolt and nut.

 • The tank label to be manufactured from stainless steel will be installed where it can be seen
easily. The data on the label will meet the requirements of the minimum standard.

2.1. ISO FRAME

• The ISO frame allows for these tank containers to be transported on the trucks. This
flexibility provides a safe, reliable and cost-effective way to transport such cargoes to
locations across.

• Frame in accordance with ISO Standard 1496/3.

• It will be designed and manufactured with resistance with full load in road conditions.

• Reinforcement pads will be welded to the tank shell for legs to the tank.

against manufacturing and workmal errors. Accessories which will be used on the tank not made of
YILTEKS, supplier/producers warranty terms will be valid. Problems caused by user errors are not
covered by the warranty.

The works which are not mentioned in the quotation or which are required to be amended shall be
made by adding or subtracting them to the price of the tender offer with the approval of the parties.
