DATE OF HEARING ON 28.03.2025

MOST RESPECTFULY SHOWTH: -

1. That the above noted mutual divorce petition under Section 13 B 1) of Hindu Marriage
Act is pending before this Hon’ble Court and same is fixed for 17/03/2025.

2. That the afore said case was listed for hearing on 17/12/2024, however the Hon’ble
Court was on leave and the matter was adjourened to 17.03.2015

3. That the applicant/petitioner no. 2 seeks pre-ponement of hearing due to the reason that
DD (demand draft ) of Rupees 2,00,000/-( two lakhs only) to be paid to petitioner no.1
will get expire on 26/02/2025 i.e. before the fixed date and thus If the hearing is not
conducted before this date ,the validity of demand draft will lapse , causing unnecessary
delays and additional expenses to reissue the draft .
4. That petitioners have been living separately since 2021.

5. That principal of natural justice and good conscious demands that matter may be heard
earlier.

6. That no useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter in pending for 17/03/2025.

7. That the present application has been moved bonafide for the reasons as mentioned
above.

PRAYER

It is therefore, most respectfully prayed and requested that this Hon’ble Court may
kindly accept and allow this application and list the matter for early date of hearing
for proper adjudication of the case, due to the above said reason, in the interest of
justice.

The Hon’ble court may pass any other order deems fits and proper under the facts and
circumstances of this case and may kindly be passed in the favor of the applicant.

I, Amit kumar S/o Sh. Jagdish Kumar R/o 1510 a,b Gali no-
10 Durga Block , Jain Nagar , karala -Delhi110081 do hereby solemnly
affirm and declare as under:
1. That I am the complainant in the present application and
being conversant with the facts and circumstances of the
case, I am competent to swear this affidavit.

2. The contents of the application have been explained to me


in vernacular and contents of the said application may be
read as part and parcel of this affidavit and are not
repeated here for the sake of brevity.

3. That the facts mentioned therein are true and correct to the
best of my knowledge and belief and nothing material has
