Takuma Obayashi

Takuma Obayashi ( 大 林 拓 真 , Ōbayashi Takuma,


born 7 August 1999) is a Japanese badminton player Takuma Ōbayashi
affiliated with Tonami. He won his first BWF World Personal information
Tour title at the 2023 Indonesia Masters Super 100 Country Japan

Career
Weight 68 kg (150 lb)
Obayashi made his international senior debut at the Handedness Right
Vietnam International Challenge in 2018, and Men's singles
participated in his first BWF World Tour tournament,
Career record 128 wins, 60 losses
the Canada Open, later that year. He reached the finals
(68.09%)
of a senior international tournament for the first time at
the Osaka International in 2019, finishing runner-up to Highest ranking 30 (20 February 2024)
countryman and former Saitama Sakae High School Current ranking 43 (18 February 2025)

The BWF World Tour, which was announced on 19 March 2017 and implemented in 2018,[5] is a series
of elite badminton tournaments sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The BWF World
Tour is divided into levels of World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300, and the
BWF Tour Super 100.[6]
