Rules for Review & Self-Inspection for B.Sc. Sem I/III/V & M.Sc. Semester-I/III 2025

 Students may apply either for review or self-inspection.


 Review:
For Core/Major (Honours) Course/DSE/GE/MIC only, students may apply for review in the prescribed
format, available from the College Office to the Controller of Examinations submitting a fee of Rs.
400/- per paper / group provided he has secured more than 40% marks aggregating the marks of
all the remaining subjects and / or papers and / or groups.
 Self-Inspection:
For Core (Honours) Course/ DSE/GE only, students may apply in the prescribed format, available from
the College Office to the Controller of Examinations to see the answer-scripts submitting a fee of Rs.
700/- per paper / group. He will be allowed to see the Xerox copy of the answer script in the
Controller’s Department when an internal teacher of the concerned subject will remain present. After
seeing the paper if the student desires for re-examination, he may apply to the Controller of
Examinations submitting a fee of Rs. 400/- per paper / group provided he has secured more than 40%
marks aggregating the marks of all the remaining subjects and / or papers and / or groups.
 There will be no re-evaluation in Practical/Tutorial portions.
 Last date of for applying for review/self-inspection : 24.02.2025

Rules for Students with QS-GPW, GPW, GPWX & X Status

 Students who have got QS-GPW/GPW/GPWX & X status in any semester may apply for
Review/Self Inspection.
 Students who have got QS-GPW/GPW/GPWX & X status in the UG First/Third/Fifth
Semester and PG First/Third Semester are being informed that they will have to clear the paper
in the next semester examination in which they have failed. Students with backlog papers in
UG Fifth Semester and PG Third Semester will have to appear for these papers in May, 2025.
 Students who have got QS-GPW/GPW/GPWX & X status in the UG First/Third/Fifth
Semester and PG First/Third Semester will be allowed to improve his marks only for the End
Semester Theory/Practical of the paper & section in which he has failed. Marks for Mid-Sem
Exam, Attendance, Continuous Evaluation etc. will be credited as per the first attempt.

 Students who have got QS-GPW/GPW/GPWX & X status in the UG First/Third/Fifth


Semester and PG First/Third Semester are being informed that they can proceed to the next
semester if they are willing. If they are willing to proceed then they will be allowed to improve
his marks only for the End Semester Theory/Practical of the paper & section in which he has
failed. Marks for Mid- Semester Exam, Attendance, Continuous Evaluation etc. will be
credited as per the first attempt. If any student with QS-GPW/GPW/GPWX & X status is
unwilling to proceed for the next semester then they will have to clear the papers in which they
have failed in the UG First/Third/Fifth Semester and PG First/Third Semester. In that case they
will have to attend classes and Mid-Semester exam for the backlog papers and their Marks for
Mid- Semester Exam, Attendance, Continuous Evaluation etc. will be credited as per the next
attempt.
