IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
1. Candidates must download and Print their Admit Card, as no separate Physical copy of the Admit
Card will be dispatched to the candidates.
2. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN THE SCHEDULE OR EXAMINATION CENTRE WILL BE CONSIDERED
UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
3. Candidate must carry one of the following original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the
government: – PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/
Ration Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo. All other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if
attested/scanned photo of IDs in mobile phone will NOT be considered as valid ID Proof.
4. MARKING SCHEME OF TEST:

The examination/test would comprise of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) with 1 or 2


Mark (as applicable) award for each Correct Answer. There will be negative marking of
0.25 or 0.50 (as applicable) for each incorrect/wrong answer, or if more than one
options is selected, or if no option is selected. However, if the candidate selects option
“E” (representing “No Answer”), no negative mark will be applied in OMR Based
Exam/Test.

5. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the examination venue after the Gate Closing Time, which
is 30 minutes after reporting time.
6. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of the
examination.
7. Upon completion of the examination, candidates must remain seated and wait for instructions from
the invigilator. Do not stand up or leave your seat until instructed to do so.
8. The Admit Card is provisional and is subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as mentioned on

9. No Candidate would be allowed to enter the Examination Centre, without Admit Card, Undertaking
and Valid ID Proof.
10. Candidate must sign the attendance sheet without fail.
11. Candidates are advised to visit the examination venue a day in advance to familiarize themselves
with the location of the Centre, so that they do not face any problem on the day of examination.
12. If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough
checking and mandatory frisking.
13. Candidates are advised to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:

a) Admit Card (a clear printout on A4 size paper)


b) Original Valid ID proof
c) A black/blue Ball Point Pen
d) Two (02) additional passport size photograph
e) Transparent Water Bottle
14. Before arriving at the Centre, the candidates must enter (if) required details in the Admit Card in
legible handwriting and paste the Photograph at the appropriate place.
15. No candidate shall engage in any unfair means or indulge in any unethical examination practices, as
the examination centres/halls are under CCTV surveillance.
16. If it is found at any stage that a candidate has submitted false documents or engaged in any unfair
examination practices, including malpractice, misbehavior, indiscipline, or impersonation, their
candidature will be canceled, and legal action will be taken. The candidate will also be debarred from
future examinations.

17. Use of Mobile or any electronic gadget, any printed or hand written material, bag, food items and
any types of arms are strictly prohibited in the examination Centre/hall, as such candidates are
advised not carry these at the examination centre.
18. Admit card has been prepared based on information given by the candidate in the online application
form. In case, information mentioned in the online application form is found misleading or false
during scrutiny of certificates at any stage, his/her candidature will be liable to rejection. He/She
may also be debarred from all future examinations conducted by University.
19. Admit Card has been issued provisionally and in no case it will be considered as basis for selection or
recruitment.
20. Shoes/footwear with thick soles and dresses with large buttons are NOT permitted.
21. Blank sheets of paper for rough work will be provided in the Test Hall/Room. Candidates must write
their name and Roll Number at the top of each of the sheet(s) and handover to the invigilator
without fail, before leaving the Test Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in a non-evaluation of
your answers.
22. The candidate must ensure that the Question Paper provided is for the post/subject indicated in the
Admit Card. If an incorrect question paper is received, the candidate should immediately inform the
invigilator.
23. The candidates are to be governed by the Rules and Regulation/Instruction of the Examination Body
and GTU with regard to their conduct in the Test Hall. All cases of unfair means will be dealt with as
per rules.
24. Applications of candidates submitting false and fabricated information will be rejected and such
candidates will be further debarred from appearing in tests conducted by GTU.
25. GTU reserves the right to withdraw permission, granted inadvertently if any, to any candidate who is
not eligible to appear in the Test even though the Admit Card had been issued.
