it often happens that we give our phones to children to
entertain them. They watch cartoons or listen to music
and use the phone as a toy.We underestimate children's
capability of learning things and don't bother ourselves
thinking about how mobile phones can affect their growth
of mind.We care less about whether a phone is harmful or
not for children's health. But it's really alarming how
phones can affect children's bodies and mind negatively.

Health


Media use like movie and drama watching, video gameply, doing
everthing on mobile etc., can severely damage the physical
condition of children. Different streaming services, gaming apps,
and social media can be accessed from mobile phone nowadays.
Here are some serious damages mobile phones occur to kids
bodies

Sleeping issues,obesity,Back and Neck Pain, Effects of Mobile
phone on Children's Mental Health, Communication
Discomfort,Addiction, Social Reluctance,Depression.

Majority of parents of primary school children thought
that cell phones might be harmful to children's health but
most of them did not pay attention to threats such as
communication with strangers or transmission of sexual
content.

The cellular Phone Task force, a consumer advocacy
organization, advises that using a cellular or digital cordless
phone for two minutes disrupts the blood-brain barrier. Longer
use permanently destroys brain cells. Dizziness, nausea,
insomania, memory loss, inability to concentrate, fatigue,
depression, anxiety and agitation are all nerological symptoms
warning of irreversible damange, depression, anxiety and
agitation are all neurological symptoms warning of irreversable
damage.

Simple tips to follow the parents to prevent
child’s screen time use

Set proper time:

Active supervision:

Encourage play time:

Avoid technology as an emotional pacifier:

Educate the children importance of privacy:

Encourage face to face communication:

Children’s are great observers, and they mimic the habits of parents. Limit your use.
Find more time to spend with your children by interacting, hugging, playing with
them rather than just staying at a screen.


Now a day’s media and digital devices are an integral part of the world today. It will
be healthier if we use them moderately and appropriately.


Research has shown that face to face time with family, children, and friends has a
significant impact on children’s learning and healthy development. So let’s not get
lost in a stream of media and technology.
