Suspension systems
Suspension systems are required for the dry mortarless Thread M8 M10 M12 M14 M16 M20
installation of the fire damper with fire batt in solid walls and
ceiling slabs, for dry mortarless installation in lightweight Fmax (N) per threaded rod 219 348 505 690 942 1470
partition walls with cladding on both sides, and for dry
mortarless installation remote from solid walls. Max. loading capacity (kg)

Fire dampers can be suspended from solid ceiling slabs using per threaded rod
adequately sized threaded rods. Load the suspension system * Weight of the fire damper, see page 9
only with the weight of the fire damper. Ducts must be
suspended separately.
Suspension systems longer than 1.5 m require fire-resistant
insulation.
Only metal anchors with certified fire protection qualification and
suitable for the wall or ceiling must be used. Instead of anchors,
threaded rods can be used (push through installation).
