Ancient Insights of Thoughts & Applications of Science and Technology through Indian Knowledge System
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) – GYAN KUMBH aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for
researchers, academicians, and faculty members to explore the rich and profound contributions of the Indian
Knowledge System (IKS) in the realms of science, technology, philosophy, linguistics, and interdisciplinary
studies.
This seven-day program will include lectures, interactive sessions, paper presentations, and panel
discussions by eminent scholars and practitioners. Participants will gain insights into ancient Indian
knowledge traditions, their contemporary relevance, and their applications in modern science and
technology.
The organizing committee invites original and unpublished research papers that align with the theme and
sub-themes of the FDP. Scholars, researchers, faculty members, and postgraduate students from various
disciplines are encouraged to contribute.

Guidelines for Paper Submission
1. Abstract Submission: An abstract of 250-300 words along with 4-5 keywords should be
submitted by 15 February 2025
2. Full Paper Submission: The full paper (between 3000-5000 words) should be submitted by 20
February 2025
3. Formatting: Papers should be in Times New Roman (12 pt) or Kruti Dev 010/ Unicode (for
Hindi) with 1.5 line spacing, following APA/MLA referencing style.
4. Mode of Presentation: Accepted papers will be presented in offline or online mode (to be
confirmed by the organizing committee).
5. Publication Opportunity: Selected high-quality papers will be published in an ISBN-edited
volume/journal.
