which helped me develop problem-solving and analytical skills. The immersive
environment challenged me to think critically and apply my technical knowledge in real-
world scenarios. This experience significantly enhanced my abilities as a worker,
making me more adept at handling engineering and business-related tasks. Overall,
my time at Torres Tech Center was instrumental in shaping my expertise and preparing
me for future career opportunities in the field.
Seminar
Work Immersion Seminar
During our first work immersion seminar, we gained valuable insights into the
professional world, including workplace culture, ethics, and company policies.
Thediscussion emphasized the importance of adhering to workplace rules and
maintaining professionalism in all interactions. We were also guided on the necessary
documents required for our immersion, such as resumes, BIR forms, and other
employment-related paperwork. The seminar helped us understand the significance of
being well-prepared for job interviews and how to present ourselves confidently.
Additionally, we were informed about the specific locations where our immersion would
take place, as well as the schedules and tasks we would be assigned. The organizers
provided a detailed overview of what to expect in a real work environment, helping us
mentally and emotionally prepare for the experience. We also learned about workplace
challenges and how to handle different scenarios professionally. The seminar served
as an eye-opener, making us realize the importance of discipline, time management,
and adaptability in a corporate setting. It was a crucial first step in our journey toward
gaining hands-on experience and bridging the gap between academic learning and
real-world application. Ultimately, this session laid the foundation for a successful work
immersion by equipping us with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to
excel in a professional environment.

that introduced us to the different activities we would be involved in. These sessions
provided a comprehensive overview of the tasks and responsibilities assigned to us as
interns. Several seminars focused on ethics and preparedness, ensuring that we
understood the professional standards and workplace expectations. We were given
detailed information about the company, including its history, mission, and core values.
Company policies, such as workplace rules, attendance guidelines, and safety
protocols, were also thoroughly discussed.

Additionally, we learned about our specific roles and responsibilities within the
company, including the tasks we needed to accomplish. One of the key highlights of
the seminar was the introduction of the prototype we were expected to develop, along
with the objectives and quality standards we had to meet. We also explored various
activities that would help us apply essential business and engineering concepts. A

7 Habits Seminar
“My Experience in Korean Language Session”
Our Korean Language session at MLCSHSI was a great experience where we gained
knowledge about Korean culture and language. First, the session was very engaging,
especially because of the speaker, who was excellent at explaining and presenting the
topic. Second, I didn’t feel bored at all, as the speaker made the discussion lively and
interesting. Third, my classmates and students from other sections actively participated
in the session. Fourth, I truly enjoyed the whole experience because I learned a lot,
and it had a big impact on me. Fifth, there were fun games related to what the speaker
taught us, making the session even more enjoyable. Sixth, the discussion covered a
broad range of topics about the Korean language, which helped us understand it better.
Lastly, even though the language seemed complex at first, it was surprisingly easy to
learn with the right guidance.
The discussion about Korean communication traditions was very exciting. The speaker
introduced the Korean language in an engaging way. It was a small talk, but we gained
valuable knowledge from her. She explained the proper hand placement and gestures
used in Korean culture. This showed how different countries have unique ways of
communicating. At first, I was curious because I only knew about Korean actors and
actresses. However, by the end of the session, I appreciated not just the speaker but
also the richness of Korea’s language and culture.
Learning a new language is valuable because it can be used for various purposes, not
just personal but also for many other aspects of life. I have gained some knowledge
about the Korean language, including its lettering and words, though I am not yet
fluent. I believe that with focus and dedication, I can learn Korean well and
communicate easily with native speakers. Additionally, learning the language will help
me achieve my goal of visiting Korea and experiencing its culture. Although it is
challenging, I find it rewarding and worth the effort. As a student, I am grateful for the
opportunity to learn about Korea and its language. This experience at Marian has been
meaningful, and I will cherish the knowledge and memories I have gained.

Day 1: “ First Day of Online Immersion : Learning, Interviews and New

beginnings”
Our Immersion happened December 2, 2024 it is online and on the first day of our
immersion, a lot happened. First, we started with introductions specially the HR
personnel. There was a singing of Philippines national anthem, after which the
interviews for OSHA and EBM began with different HR personnel interviewing us based
on our chosen and preferred program. While others were waiting for their interviews,
there was an ice breaker to make things more enjoyable and less nerve wracking. After
this, we were taken to the break room and there were separate rooms for EBM and
OSHA interviews and we all passed the interviews based on what we were join. After
the interview, we wait again in the main room for the next need to do. While we were
waiting theres an examination for each program that took a few minutes to complete.
After this, we waited again for the tasks that needed to be done and then we went to
our respective programs where we all passed. A lot was taught and present to us
especially about the torres company. We learned a lot from it until it was over and done
to present. After this, we went back to the main room where everyone shared their
learning and here too it was said what we would do next tomorrow for immersion.
Day 2: A Productive Second Day of immersion
OnOn the second day of our immersion, we began with an introduction to the Quality
Management System (QMS). The discussion covered its definition, significance, and
essential role in an organization. Understanding QMS is crucial because it ensures that
organizations maintain high standards in their processes and outputs. As part of this
session, we were given our first task related to QMS, which included an activity and the
creation of a poster slogan. This task allowed us to creatively express our
understanding of quality management. The activity was successfully completed, and
participants were divided into groups for their respective assignments. After completing
the initial tasks, we took a meal break before resuming our immersion session. After
the break, we shifted our focus to lean thinking, a concept that emphasizes efficiency
and waste reduction in processes. The discussion introduced us to various strategies
and principles of lean thinking, which are widely applied in different industries.
Following this, we explored kaizens, a methodology focused on continuous
improvement. We learned about its principles, the continuous improvement cycle, and
how small changes can lead to significant long-term improvements. To reinforce our
learning, we participated in an interactive activity called "Infairness," where we worked
in pairs to present our output. This activity encouraged collaboration and deeper
understanding of kaizen principles. After completing the kaizen session, we moved on
to the topic of data visualization. This session emphasized the importance of effectively
presenting data to enhance decision-making. Participants engaged in discussions and
a hands-on activity that allowed us to apply different visualization techniques. Through
this exercise, we understood how data visualization plays a crucial role in simplifying

Development”
On the third day of immersion, we began with an engaging exercise in which all of us
actively participated. This activity helped set the tone for the day and encouraged
teamwork among the participants. After exercise, we transitioned into a discussion
about new product involvement, which covered various important aspects. We learned
about the significance of developing new products and how it can contribute to the
growth and success of a business. The discussion also introduced us to the step-by-
step process of product development, highlighting key stages such as ideation,
prototyping, and market testing. Additionally, we explored the challenges that
businesses often face when introducing new products and the strategies to overcome
them. As part of the session, we were informed about the upcoming group activities
designed to enhance our practical understanding. After a few minutes, our facilitator
assigned us a task that focused on creating a product prototype, which would serve as
our output for the day. We were divided into groups that included students from
different schools, allowing us to collaborate and share diverse ideas. This grouping
encouraged teamwork and enabled us to learn from each other’s strengths and
perspectives. Once we were organized into our respective teams, we immediately
started working on the prototype, knowing that it had to be submitted the following day.
We allocated tasks efficiently within our group to ensure a smooth workflow and
effective time management. Despite the time constraints, we remained focused and
motivated to complete the task successfully.
Day 4 "Facility Planning: Insights and Hands-On Experience"

On the fourth day of our immersion, we immediately started discussing the topic of
facility planning. Our instructors introduced us to the various aspects of facility
planning, including key factors to consider, facility location, and facility layout. They
explained how each of these elements plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency
and effectiveness of a facility. I found the discussion very insightful, as it provided me
with a better understanding of how facilities are designed and organized. After the
lecture, we were given an activity that required us to create a layout or sketch of a
facility based on what we had learned. The layout we created was evaluated based on
several criteria and rated on a scale from 1 to 10. We also had to calculate the total
weighted score to assess the overall efficiency of our design. The activity was both
challenging and exciting, as it allowed us to apply theoretical knowledge to a practical
scenario. We spent the entire day working on our layouts, making sure that every detail
was carefully considered. Collaboration was essential, as we had to work closely with
our group members to come up with the best possible design. Once our layout was
finalized, we prepared to present our work to the class and our instructors. The
presentation was a great opportunity to showcase our efforts and receive valuable
feedback. After presenting, we submitted our final output for evaluation. It was a tiring
yet fulfilling day, as we learned a lot and improved our teamwork and problem-solving
skills. Overall, the experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the complexity of
facility planning and its importance in real-world applications.
Day 5 : Exploring Supply Chain Management: A Day of Learning and
Practical Application
Today’s activities focused on engineering and business management topics. A
significant portion of the day was dedicated to discussing supply chain management.
The concept of supply chain management and its importance in business operations
were explained. Particular attention was given to the role of supply chains in managing
the flow of production. Various types of supply chains and their models were introduced
and discussed in detail. After the theoretical discussions, a workshop was conducted to
reinforce the concepts learned. Participants were divided into groups and assigned
specific tasks related to supply chain management. The assigned activities aimed to
provide practical insights and hands-on experience. Throughout the day, participants
engaged in these activities and collaborated with their groups. The workshop allowed
everyone to apply the theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. The discussions
and group activities helped in better understanding supply chain dynamics. Overall, the
entire day was productive and focused on enhancing practical and theoretical
knowledge.
DAY 6 : Optimizing Production; Insights into Effective Facility Planning
On the sixth day of our on-site training immersion, we experienced a significant
milestone in our journey. We headed to Torres Tech early in the morning to ensure we
arrived on time, as the activities there typically begin early. Starting the day with an
energizing exercise session, we prepared ourselves both physically and mentally for
the tasks ahead. Once the warm-up was completed, we joined our respective groups to
continue working on the group activity that had been assigned during the previous
session. This activity not only challenged us to collaborate but also encouraged us to
think critically and creatively. The experience was incredibly enriching, as we gained
valuable insights and practical knowledge through hands-on application. The first day
of on-site immersion set the tone for a fruitful and dynamic experience, allowing us to
adjust to the environment and develop a sense of teamwork. During this time, we also
had the opportunity to form meaningful connections and build friendships with other
participants, which added a personal and enjoyable dimension to the learning process.
One of the most important aspects of the immersion was the focus on effective
communication, which helped us convey ideas clearly and work cohesively with our
peers. Furthermore, the activities tested our skills and knowledge in real-world
scenarios, making the training both relevant and impactful. It was not just about
learning new concepts but also about applying them under pressure, which prepared
us for future challenges. Overall, the sixth day of immersion was a blend of growth,
camaraderie, and preparation for the professional world.
Day 7: “ From Rest to Result : A day of Teamwork and Productivity

This morning, I woke up early to make sure I wouldn’t be late for our immersion.
Arriving at Torres, I decided to take a short rest because I still felt sleepy from waking
up early. After an hour of resting, we began working on the activities for the day,
focusing on making our group prototype. The task required a lot of teamwork, so we all
collaboratedand contributed ideas to ensure the prototype would turn out as planned.
Everyone in the group was actively involved, dividing tasks and helping one another to
complete the project efficiently. Since we also had a deadline to meet, we pushed
ourselves to work diligently throughout the day. Despite being busy, we were mindful of
taking breaks to recharge. During break time, we shared some snacks and light
conversations, which helped us relax for a while. Lunch was also a good opportunity for
us to rest and regain energy for the remaining tasks. After lunch, we returned to work
with renewed focus, determined to finish everything before submission. By the end of
the day, we successfully completed the prototype, feeling a sense of accomplishment
as a team. Although the day was hectic, the experience taught us the value of
teamwork and time management. It was both a productive and fulfilling day overall.
Day 8: “ Rising to the Challenge : A Day of Defense and Determination”

The eighth day of our immersion was one of the most challenging yet fulfilling days
we’ve had. Early in the morning, we immediately started preparing for our prototype
defense, knowing how crucial it was to do well. Everyone in the group was focused and
busy, as we divided the tasks to ensure everything was in order. We worked closely
together, helping one another with both the presentation slides and the defense
strategy. Each group member took time to prepare their individual parts, practicing how
to present and defend the prototype confidently. Despite the pressure, we encouraged
one another, which kept the team motivated throughout the day. When it was finally
time for our defense, we gave it our best effort, showcasing the prototype we had
worked so hard to create. Thankfully, our group was the first to finish presenting among
all the groups in our room. Although we were relieved to be done, the effort had
drained much of our energy. To recharge, we decided to take a short break, enjoying a
few moments to relax and gather ourselves. After the break, we immediately shifted our
focus to creating an advertisement for our prototype, which was another important part
of the project. The advertisement required just as much effort, so we worked together
once more, sharing ideas and finalizing the design. By the end of the day, we felt a
sense of accomplishment, knowing that we had given our best in every task. It was a
tiring yet rewarding experience that reminded us of the value of teamwork and
perseverance.
Day 9: “ From Dawn to Diligence : A Day of tasks and Determination”

Early this morning, we immediately started an activity as soon as we arrived. It was

quite challenging, and I couldn’t finish it as quickly as I had hoped. I decided to take my
time and carefully review my answers to ensure they were accurate. It took me a while
to double-check everything, and by the time I was done, it was already noon. After
lunch, we were given another task to work on, which turned out to be connected to the
first one. This new task required me to recall and apply some of the details I had
worked on earlier. Unlike the first task, this one was more hands-on and involved some
hauling work. Despite my efforts, I wasn’t able to complete the hauling task during the
afternoon. Feeling determined, I brought it home with me so I could continue working
on it. I plan to dedicate more time to it this evening and ensure that everything is done
properly. Although I hadn’t expected to work on it outside school, I want to give my best
effort. The entire process has been tedious, but I understand how important it is to
finish the task. By tomorrow, I hope to have everything prepared and ready for
submission. I’ll make sure it’s as accurate and thorough as possible.
Day 10: A Memorable Journey: Lessons and Friendships from Our Work
Immersion

The tenth day of our immersion was held at LPU Laguna, marking the final stretch of
our journey. We woke up early and carefully prepared ourselves, knowing that this was
one of the last days of our work immersion experience. Excitement and relief filled the
air as we realized that all our hard work and dedication at Torres Tech were about to
pay off. Despite the challenges we faced throughout the immersion, we were proud of
everything we had accomplished. Arriving at LPU Laguna, we gathered on the stage
with students from different schools, yet we treated each other as one big group of
friends. It was a bittersweet moment as we knew this would be the last time we would
be together in this setting. Certificates were awarded to students based on their
achievements and the skills they demonstrated throughout the program. Seeing our
efforts recognized made us feel proud and fulfilled, knowing that we had truly learned
and grown. Beyond the technical skills we developed, we also improved our ability to
work with others and build meaningful connections. The memories we created during
our immersion will always hold a special place in our hearts. We spent countless hours
working, learning, and sharing experiences, which strengthened our bond as a team.
After the awarding ceremony, we bid each other farewell, knowing that we would be
returning to our respective homes and schools. Although parting ways was difficult, we
were grateful for the friendships we had formed. The immersion taught me not only
professional skills but also how to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
It was a valuable experience that helped me grow both personally and academically.
As I look back, I appreciate all the lessons learned and the people who made this
journey unforgettable
Conclusion
“ A Transformative Journey : Lessons, Growth, and Collaboration in our
Immersion Experience”

Our online immersion began on December 2, 2024, with introductions, the singing of
the Philippine national anthem, and interviews for OSHA and EBM programs.
Icebreaker activities helped ease nerves before we were divided into separate rooms
for interviews, which everyone successfully passed. After the interviews, we took an
examination related to our chosen program and awaited further instructions. We
learned about Torres Company and discussed our next steps for the following
immersion day. On the second day, we explored Quality Management Systems (QMS)
and participated in a creative poster slogan activity. We also studied lean thinking,
kaizen principles, and data visualization, which deepened our understanding of
efficiency and improvement. The third day focused on product development, where we
collaborated in groups to create a product prototype. Facility planning was the topic of
the fourth day, and we applied our learning by designing a facility layout. On the fifth
day, we learned about supply chain management through discussions and hands-on
activities. Our first on-site immersion at Torres Tech on the sixth day was a significant
milestone, emphasizing teamwork and effective communication. The seventh day was
dedicated to prototype development, requiring teamwork and time management to
meet deadlines. The eighth day challenged us with prototype defense presentations,
followed by the creation of an advertisement for our project. The ninth day involved
completing tasks that required attention to detail, including a hands-on hauling activity.
Determined to finish the work, I continued the task at home to ensure thoroughness.
On the tenth day, we gathered at LPU Laguna for the final event of our immersion.
Certificates were awarded, recognizing our achievements and growth throughout the
program. We built strong friendships and gained valuable lessons in teamwork and
professional skills. The immersion experience was enriching, leaving us with
unforgettable memories and newfound knowledge.
Recommendations
During my work immersion in Laguna at Torres Tech Company, I learned a lot,
especially in terms of entrepreneurship and innovating new products. In order to further
improve the work immersion, the seminar needs to be improved so that others can
learn more and in collaboration so that connections can grow and expand. More
internship opportunities in other fields where there is more to learn and study based on
the field chosen.I also recommend their canteen, which is my experience. The smell
inside the canteen is different, but it's just a smell. The service from the canteen staff
and those who take care of it is just right.
