Submission Format
The submission is in the form of an individual written personal professional
development plan. This should be written in a concise, formal business style using
single spacing and font size 12. You are required to make use of headings, paragraphs
and subsections as appropriate, and all work must be supported with research and
referenced using the Harvard referencing system.
Please also provide a reference list using the Harvard referencing system. The
recommended word limit is 2,000 words although you will not be penalised for
exceeding the total word limit.

Assignment activity and guidance
Your assignment is to research a job position in an organization that you aspire to work for
in the future. Your objective is to understand the necessary knowledge, skills, and
behaviors needed for that position.
You must design a career development portfolio for that position, based on your reflection
and evaluation.
The portfolio must contain the following items:
1. A Job Description of the position
2. A personal SWOT analysis and skill audit to evaluate your suitability for the job
3. A Personal Development Plan to achieve your job goals
4. A resume and cover letter for the position
5. A Reflective statement on your learning process and future application
