Job Description – DevOPs Engineer (AWS+Node JS)
Key Technologies:
● AWS - Microservices architecture and maintain and operate highly scalable microservice
backends
o Node JS Backend, Lambda Functions, API Gateway, EC2, Auto Scale, Cloud Watch,
SNS, S3
o Containers, Orchestration and Management
o Load balancing, Security and Vulnerability
o Exposure to Serverless framework and express framework (not mandatory)
o Manage Elastic Cache Clusters
o Manage Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana
o Exposure to Cloudwatch and debugging serverless app is a big plus
o Cognito, VPC, MediaConvert, Elemental will be a plus
o Hands on experience with JWT / OAuth / AWS Cognito / Other auth providers
o Containers - Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus
● Database experience should include MongoDb, Redis, Postgres, MySql, Dynamodb
● Web application servers include Nginx, Proxies, Reverse Proxies, DNS Configurations
● Web application hosting include S3, CloudFront, CI/CD deployments
● Security configuration should include WAF, Guard Duty and others
● Exposure to variety of 3rd party system integrations is required
o CRM, Billing, Payment gateways, analytics, OSS / BSS systems
● Exposure to Unit testing and CI / CD using any tools is mandatory
o Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions etc
● Sharp skills on Git and Code Management required
● Exposure to JIRA, Confluence is mandatory
● Exposure to Agile Methodologies will be required
● Sound scripting knowledge of shell, python patterns and practises required
Roles and Responsibilities :
● Be involved in all stages of design and development of Media backends
● Design highly efficient, fault tolerant systems using sound computing knowledge on Devops,
Systems, Process, Security, Infrastructure, patterns and practises using AWS Cloud.
● Work as part of an Agile team to deliver high-quality product scaling out to large customer
bases (1 million +)
Qualifications:
● B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech / M.S / MCA
● Expertise in designing/maintaining large back-end systems on AWS cloud
● Experience in architecture of microservices scalable to millions of users
● Computational thinking - Data Structures, Algorithms and Time Complexity
● Independent, energetic with good communication, collaboration and strong teamwork
