the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and National Apprenticeship

one-year ON-JOB-TRAINING (OJT) program. Upon successful completion, apprentices

Benefits of NAPS & NATS Partnership:


1. Exemption from Labor Laws: No LABOUR LAWS are applicable, alleviating the
burden of EPF (Provident Fund), ESIC, and other statutory payments for TWO years every
candidate.

2. Cost-Efficiency: More than 50% savings on wages, with an annual saving of


approximately Rs. 54,000 per apprentice under NATS & Rs. 18,000 under NAPS

3. Trainee Status: Candidates are considered as Trainees, not employees, simplifying the
regulatory landscape.

4. Stability: Tenure of 1 year minimizes attrition and absenteeism issues for the industry.

5. Simplified Processes: No documentation or portal processes for the industry, reducing


administrative burden, BVG will take entire responsibility.

6. CSR Utilization: Expenditure on engaging apprentices can be booked under CSR


Liability/funds, promoting efficient utilization of CSR funds.

Reimbursement to Employer:
Employers are eligible for a reimbursement or savings of following amount per apprentice
for a period of ONE year.
• Under NAPS - Rs. 1500 per month = Rs. 18,000/year
• Under NATS - Rs. 4500 per month for Graduate Apprentice = Rs. 54,000/year & Rs.
4000 per month for Diploma Apprentice = Rs. 54,000/year
