New Functionalities Added on the Implants Duplicate UDI

Warning Notification
Path: ASC Progress Notes > Nursing Record tab > Intraoperative Nursing icon > Implants
When documenting an implant for a patient who has the same UDI as another implant in the
application, the Implants - Duplicate UDI Added warning notification displays.
The following functionalities have been added to the warning notification:
▪ Do not remind again check box - Check this box to suppress the warning notification.

Note: Users must have the Allow users to suppress the implants duplicate UDI warning
security setting enabled for the Do not remind again check box to display in the
Implants - Duplicate UDI Added warning notification.

▪ Continue button - Click this button to proceed with adding the implant without updating
the UDI:

MIPS Dashboard Update to PI Settings for 2024

Path: Main Menu > Analytics > MIPS > Setup drop-down list > 2024 > PI Settings tab
The MIPS Dashboard Promoting Interoperability Settings window has been updated for the
year 2024 with the following changes:

▪ The default reporting period for PI computation has a new radio button option for 180
days:

▪ The Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) section has been updated with the
following description options:
◆ Exclusion (unable to electronically prescribe Schedule II opioids and Schedule III and IV drugs)
◆ Exclusion (does not electronically prescribe any Schedule II opioids or Schedule III or IV drugs):

Selecting a previous year from the Setup drop-down list reverts the Promoting Interoperability
Settings window back to the selected year's applicable content.
