Story 2: The Ant and the Dove
One hot day, an ant was walking near a river. The ant slipped and
fell into the water. The poor ant could not swim and cried for help.
A dove, sitting on a tree nearby, saw the ant struggling. The dove
quickly plucked a leaf and dropped it into the water. The ant
climbed onto the leaf and floated safely to the shore.
"Thank you, Dove," said the ant. "You saved my life."
A few days later, a hunter came to the forest. He saw the dove
sitting on a branch and aimed his bow to shoot. The ant saw the
hunter and wanted to help the dove. The ant ran and bit the
hunter’s foot. The hunter cried out in pain and missed his shot.
The dove flew away to safety.
The dove said, "Thank you, Ant! You saved me just as I saved
you."
The moral of the story is: Kindness always comes back to you.
