Preventive Maintenance

 Preventive maintenance
Preventive maintenance is the act of performing regularly scheduled maintenance
activities to help prevent unexpected failures in future. Put simply, it’s about fixing things
before they break.

 Step by Step Process

A) Create Maintenance Strategies – IP11

Enter data as shown above enter and click on packages.


In package we enter cycle of operation.

Save it.
B) Create Task List – IA01
Enter Equipment no. 10000000
1) In header enter Maintenance strategy, usage and status.

2) Then click on operation.

In above screen enter the operation select this and click on mnt. Pack.
3) Go to maintenance package
Select the cycle time.

In maintenance package we allocate maintenance plan.


In operation we also assign component required for cleaning the
equipment.
Save It.
C) Create Maintenance Plan – IP42
1) In this select maintenance plan category, strategy then enter.

2) Maintenance plan cycle


Enter data as per below and click on maintenance plan scheduling
parameter.
3) Maintenance Plan Scheduling Parameter
In that maintain data as below.

Save it. Maintenance plan no is created. 10000001


4) Scheduling of Maintenance Plan Manually — IP10
Enter Maintenance plan no. and enter
When Click on start enter date then we can see the maintenance plan as per strategy.
If you want to create manually order then click on the line and release it from below green
flag and save.
Save it.

Step 4 Manual Release IP10

Step 5 to see order IP24

Step 6 To see Maintenance plan IP16
