Pre installation Checklist

1 Diameter of Pipe to be checked before laying.

2 Pipe is free from all visible deflects on physical inspection.

3 Verify the location of pipe to be laid as per approved layout drawing.

4 Check the slope before laying of pipe as per drawing

5 Routing of the pipes are as per the approved shop drawings.

6 Cut the pipe of required length and smooth clean the edge of pipe and fitting

7 Ensure that the Spun yarn placed around the spigot of the pipe as back filler &
compound into the gap of the pipe joint using a caulking tool

8 Ensure that the Drip slea is properly mixed as supplied ration and filled within all joints
with smooth finish.

Post installation Checklist

9 Ensure that sufficient time has provided to cured the joints 1 to 3 hours depends on
atmospheric termperature

10 Ensure that spacing between supports are provided as per GFC drawing.

11 Ensure that anchors and thrust blocks is provided (if required) as per the GFC drawing.
(If applicable) for external part only

12 The back filling layer should not be over 300 mm. (If applicable) for external part only

13 Water sprinkling required after every two or three layers of back filling.(If applicable) for
external part only

Testing

14 Installed Pipe line has to be tested with Pressure test method (2 Hrs)
