Contexte : Plusieurs jeunes n’arrivent pas à réussir de nos jours parce qu’ils ont adopté depuis
leur bas âge, des attitudes peu recommandables. Pour réussir dans la vie, il y a des
comportements à adopter à l’école aussi bien qu’à la maison.

Text: Youth duties
Nowadays, young people tend to be more and more reluctant when they should do their duties.
Do you know that doing your duties has a lot of benefits for you?
Indeed, every young boy or girl dreams of success. But some young people do not know that
success is a process. As a young person, you need to prepare yourself for success by doing your
duties first of all. This means that you learn your lessons, do your homework and work very hard
at school. These duties are necessary for you to succeed at school.
Besides, apart from what you ought to do to succeed at school, it is important for you as a young
person, to help your parents at home by doing household chores. This includes that you do the
cooking, sweep the floor, grind condiments, wash the dishes, etc. For years, people thought these
types of activities were the tasks of girls only. That’s wrong. Boys ought to do household chores
as well for the following reasons: they will leave the family someday to live alone before they
get married. And even married, they will have to help their wives in case the latter are ill or
pregnant or have to go to work early in the morning.
All said and done, young people ought to adopt good behaviors in order to succeed in life. For
example, they ought to be respectful towards their parents, their teachers and elders; be helpful;
and always reconcile after a misunderstanding. On the contrary, they should not retaliate or be
stubborn.

LA PRODUCTION D’UN TEXTE DE TYPE PARTICULIER
Contexte : Un bon ami n’est pas seulement celui qui est là pendant les bons moments mais celui
qui sait sortir son ami du pire en lui donnant des conseils par rapport aux comportements peu
exemplaires.

Critères : Tu montreras ta capacité à produire une lettre en anglais en :


- Respectant le contexte et le type de texte ;
- Utilisant le vocabulaire approprié ;
- Construisant des phrases grammaticalement correctes ;
- Utilisant la ponctuation et l’orthographe adéquates ;
- Respectant la logique interne du texte.
