Biological Sciences will receive a fellowship up to a maximum of five years.
Chemical Engineering The fellowship could be from the Institute or Sponsored
Chemistry Projects. PhD students may also have their own fellowship if
Civil Engineering qualified through UGC/CSIR NET.
Computer Science and Information Systems Students offered Institute fellowship will receive ₹37,000/-
Electrical & Electronics Engineering per month. The fellowship may be enhanced to ₹40,000/- or
Humanities & Social Sciences ₹42,000/- after two years based on the performance.
Economics & Finance Institute Fellows will also receive a contingency amount of
Management ₹20,000/- per year.
Mathematics Students offered admission through Sponsored Projects
Mechanical Engineering would receive the fellowship in accordance with the funding
Pharmacy agency guidelines.
Physics
BITS Pilani provides International Travel Support of up to

Minimum Eligibility Qualifications
▪ M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm./MBA/M.Phil. or an equivalent Degree (a minimum of 60% aggregate)*
▪ M.Sc./B.E./B.Pharm. or an equivalent degree (a minimum of 60% aggregate)*
• 101-150 in Pharmacy
▪ For admissions to Humanities and Social Sciences, candidates with an M.A. degree (minimum of 55% aggregate)* • 251-300 in Mechanical Engineering
• 301-350 in Computer Science
▪ For part-time applicants, a minimum of one year experience in the related field of study is required.
• 301-350 in EEE & Chemical Engineering
