annually.TCS has a significant wide network in Pakistan operating with
8000 professionals working round the clock with call centers more than
722 accessibly located called Express Centers that deal with nothing

to hire 737 aircraft, 2000+ online and offline locations, 401 satellites

because it is an emerging nation with growth rate is 11.5%. The
investment trend is constructive for the industrial growth because
most of the companies have started their operations similar to
telecommunication and automobile and many other industries. They
will search out courier business to carry out their procedures because
they would prefer to deliver the bills and other documents on time with
valid proof. The GDP has directly influenced by the changing in per
capita income. Per capita income has an effect on the disposable
income. The increase pattern of disposable income leads to increase in
buying power of customers. The awareness and use of technology

deal with the transportation of these items.
• One of the weaknesses of the TCS is an air fleet used for the
movements of the good within the boundary of the state. It uses
commercial airline for international deliveries of its services.
• The information regarding the address and contact number of
different outlets in different area in Pakistan is not available on the
website.
• TCS has restricted setup of their functions in four countries
including Pakistan compare to DHL that provides its services in 227
countries and FedEx operating in more than 210 countries.
• As the trend of providing online services is becoming very
common for the courier services, the online booking and payment
services do not offered by the TCS. TCS offer this facility just for the
corporate customers and not for the domestic customers.
• TCS has a disadvantage because they do not give proper
information of the other brands provided by the TCS other than
Sentiments Express and core services so there is lack of knowledge
about the brand among the powerful customers.
• Because of so many international brands, TCS has faced a huge
competition in courier industry.
• The image of the Pakistani brand in customer’s
mind is not good. They rely on the international brand
and try to avail their services because of their
international competitors like DHL and FedEx.
Significance:
After analyzing TCS logistics , we had identified many factors regarding this
company of which we were not aware. Following are the significance of this
project.
1: TCS operates not only domestic but internationally as well. TCS operates in
countries like : Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh, Honk Kong, Indonesia, Korea.
More than 160 offices around the globe.
2: We had learned about the in-depth and step by step process of its operations
from initial customers to the final point of origin.
5: TCS has a separate service to facilitate customers who wants to send gifts to its
loved ones known as TCS Sentiments.
