I write to express my interest in the Position of Community Health Worker at Girls
Empowerment Network organization which was advertised online.
I am a holder of MSCE certificate and a College Certificate in Community Midwifery. I am
eager to provide hard work in supervising program community groups, report writing and time
management, and hard work in all the given tasks at the organization, in order to improve the
organization’s services and processes and to achieve the project mission of AGYW; the scaling
up of integrated HIV, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Gender Based
Violence (GBV).
My studies at St Luke’s college have equipped me with a strong understanding of HIV concept,
testing and prevention, Healthcare, Supervision and confidentiality. My academic training has
improved my analytical skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills
and teamwork spirit. If considered, I will apply to the best of my knowledge and skills in
practical setting and contribute to the success of Girls Empowerment Network organization.
