Abstract: Higher education plays vital role for creating knowledge and information
based society. The mission and vision of higher education is to educate, train, and
undertake research activities and service to the community. In such condition, it is
necessary to have an effective and efficient quality assurance mechanism in our country.
NAAC is a body established by the University Grants Commission of India to assess
