*By entering the Innovyuh Hackathon 2025, you agree to abide by these Official Rules. Please review the following
rules carefully before participating, as submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these terms. This agreement
is legally binding between you and GDG on Campus MIT ACSC Pune. Failure to comply with these rules may result
in disqualification.

🏆 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Membership Requirement: Participant’s must be the community members of GDG on


Campus MIT ACSC .

• Registration Requirement: All participants must register for the Solution Challenge 2025
under GDG on Campus MIT ACSC. ( Registration Guide)

• Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older.

• Academic Requirement: The hackathon is open to student developers enrolled in recognized


colleges or universities across India, with a passion for developing innovative solutions.

TEAM COMPOSITION
• Team Size: Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members.

• A participant can only join one team.

• Participants from different colleges can form a team, but they must register under GDG OC MIT
ACSC.

• Each team is allowed to submit only one project.

HACKATHON STRUCTURE
• PPT Presentation: Use the provided template to create and present your idea.

• Prototype Presentation: Showcase a working prototype to earn additional bonus points.

PROBLEM STATEMENTS

We offer 31 predefined problem statements along with 1 Open Innovation category, allowing teams
to propose their own creative solutions.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• Single Project Policy: Each team is permitted to submit only one project.

• Original Work: All submissions must be original. Use of pre-existing code or projects is
prohibited, except for open-source libraries or frameworks. Any plagiarism or uncredited
code will result in disqualification.

• Project Creation Date: The project must be created after December 2024. Previously
developed or submitted projects cannot be reused or resubmitted.

• PPT Presentation: Teams must use the official template provided by GDG OC MIT ACSC.
Deviation from the template may lead to a loss of evaluation points.

• In-Person Presentation: All team members must be physically present during the final
project presentation. Temporary absences for work-related reasons are permitted.

• Ethical Compliance: Projects must adhere to ethical standards and must not promote
harmful or inappropriate content.

CODE OF CONDUCT & GENERAL RULES


• Collaboration: While teams may seek guidance from mentors or organizers, cross-team
collaboration is strictly prohibited.
• Non-Discrimination: Any form of discrimination based on race, religion, national origin,
gender, sexual orientation, social class, economic status, veteran status, disability, or age is
strictly prohibited.

• Fair Play: Participants must uphold ethical standards. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or
unfair practices will lead to immediate disqualification.

• Rule Amendments: The organizers reserve the right to modify hackathon rules, format, or
prizes at any time. Any changes will be communicated promptly to participants.

• Consent & Media Release: Participants may be required to provide consent for the use of
their photographs, videos, and project details for promotional purposes.

• Disqualification: Teams may be disqualified at the discretion of the organizers for violating
competition rules, the code of conduct, or engaging in unsporting behavior.

• Final Decision: All decisions made by the organizing committee are final and binding.

PRIZES & AWARDS

• Prizes and awards will be given based on the judging criteria and final evaluation points.

• Winning teams will receive certificates and prizes.

• Participation certificates will be provided to all eligible participants.

HACKATHON EVALUATION CRITERIA

1. Problem Definition & Understanding (15%)

o Clarity: How well is the problem defined and understood?

o Context: Does the project clearly articulate the need for the solution?

o Relevance: Is the problem significant to the target audience?

2. Innovation & Creativity (20%)

o Originality: How unique and novel is the solution?

o Creativity: Does the project demonstrate innovative thinking?

o Differentiation: How does it stand out from existing solutions?

3. Technical Implementation & Feasibility (25%)

o Design & Architecture: Robustness and scalability of the design.

o Execution: Quality of technical implementation.

o Feasibility: Practicality, challenges, and future improvements.


4. Impact & Social/Business Value (20%)

o Scalability: Can the solution be expanded for broader impact?

o Market/Community Value: Benefits for the target audience.

o Sustainability: Potential for continued development and real-world application.

5. Presentation & 5-Minute PPT Pitch (20%)

o PPT Template: Teams must use the provided template for their presentation.

o Clarity & Structure: Organized and easy to follow.

o Visual Appeal: Quality of slides and supporting visuals.

o Communication: Effectiveness in delivering the idea within 5 minutes.

o Q&A Preparedness: Ability to respond to judges' questions.

o Engagement: Passion and enthusiasm conveyed in the pitch.

Bonus Points
Teams that integrate Google products or platforms into their project building will receive additional
points. Eligible technologies include such as :

Gemini API’s , Project IDX , Google Workspace , Firebase , Flutter , Google Analytics , Google
Assistant, Other Google products or platforms.

Each project will be scored by judges based on these weighted criteria, with constructive feedback
provided to help teams refine their projects beyond the hackathon.

Registration & Confirmation Process


Once you have completed your registration form and met all the required conditions, our team will
review your application. If your registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation email for the
Innovyuh Hackathon.

If any details are missing or do not meet our criteria, our team will reach out to you shortly.

By following these regulations, Innovyuh Hackathon 2025 aims to foster a fair, inclusive, and
