 Why continuous oil maintenance,
oil purification
80% of all hydraulic system breakdowns are caused by particulate pollution and about
30 to 40% is due to water in the oil. It is therefore important to remove all contaminants in
the oil, and best of all, continuous oil maintenance is a new concept that is emerging as
a new standard for oil (like the standard on water that requires water purification that has
been around for many years).

environment for, we have never calculated or mapped, nor have we ever focused our
sales angled towards saving the environment. But our customers do just that when they

who say that the life of hydraulic oil is ten to 15 times longer with continuous oil maintenance.

The Purifiner have a 100% cotton filter which cleans the oil free of particles down to 1 to 3
microns, and at the top of the filter there is an evaporation process of water in the oil
down to 100-200 ppm or 0.01 to 0.02%. Normally during continuous oil maintenance, the
oil will have standard ISO 15/13/19 or NAS 4 or better standard.

New standards require clean oil

The Purifiner cleaning/maintenance all types of oil, mineral synthetic and Environmentally
Acceptable Lubricant (EAL) bio oil. An EAL oil is very sensitive to water entering the oil
and must be removed at all times. By default, some suppliers of EAL oil have a max.
300 ppm water can be in the oil, above this level will damage the oil. The EAL oil has the
property that if it leaks into water, it breaks down immediately and does not cause
pollution in the water.

unit for continuous oil maintenance.

If you just look at the cost of oil:

Mineral / synthetic oil – From 18 to 26 kr. per liter for hydraulic oil
EAL oil / environmental oil – The price of an oil company completely discounted, NOK
60.- per liter.

The WPD-2400 diesel cleaner is equipped with

a sensor that indicates that there is flow
through the filter and has a filter bag made of
polypropylene (a synthetic fiber that is very

similar to polyester). The filter is strong, elastic
and light, as well as washable and can be used

distributors buy our oil purification units and resell it without us knowing who the
customer is, and we therefore do not log this on customer or ship.
