The product is made up of molten natural volcanic basalt rocks spun into fine fibers like structure and bonded
with heat resistant thermosetting binder forming rigid rockwool slabs (boards).
Burkani Fire Board is used in case where fire insulation and fire rating are required, different fire rating
can be achieved depending on the board thickness and the structural element construction.
The material has good thermal, acoustical, and fire resistance properties it complies with the
requirements of ASTM C612 and SASO GSO EN13162/2014 with the following specifications:
