BNMIT offers engineering courses in

Delhi. BNMIT has received NIRF rank in 201-250 band. Department of Science & Technology has funded Rs. 2.87
Crores towards New Gen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC). BNMIT has some more

by TIMES Survey, 32nd Rank by Outlook and 36th Rank by Data Quest.
About the Conference
International Conference on Computing and Intelligent Information Systems ICCIIS – 2024 is organized and
hosted by BNM Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, India on 19th and 20th April 2024. The conference will feature a
comprehensive technical program including several special sessions and workshops. The goal of ICCIIS 2024 is to
provide an outstanding forum for academicians, researchers, practitioners, policymakers and students to
exchange ideas, techniques and tools, raise awareness, and share experiences related to all practical and
theoretical aspects of intelligent and innovations in engineering.
ICCIIS – 2024 focuses on issues and solutions involving Intelligent and Innovative Technologies in Computing,
Electrical and Electronics. Developments in the field of Computing, Electrical and Electronics are very complex and
advance rapidly as changes occur on day-to-day basis. It is very difficult to make it available to all stakeholders
(researchers, academicians, students, industrialists and society). Hence, the objectives of the conference are:

l The conference provides a platform for the Researchers, Industry Professionals, Academicians and Students to
explore and publish their innovative solutions for real time problems.
l Create a forum for facilitating the exchange of practical experiences in all aspects of Computer Electronics and
Engineering in addition to seeking solutions to the various challenges faced by Practicing Engineers,
Technologists, and Scientists.
l The conference provides an international forum where Researchers, Industry Professionals, Academicians and
Students across the globe can present and exchange their research innovative ideas and build network for
further research collaboration.
l The conference seeks submission of novel research work from Practicing Engineers, Technologists, Scientists
from R & D Institutions, Research Scholars, Faculty members and Students on all theoretical and practical
aspects of engineering to address new challenges, share solutions at the interface of technology, information,
and discuss future research directions.
l The rolling flagship conference will feature high-quality research paper presentation and exhibition where top
industries would be exhibiting their innovative products of high impact technology.
About the Departments
Department of Information Science & Engineering
The Department of Information science & Engineering was established in the year 2001 with an intake of 60. The
department has qualified and dedicated faculty members to provide quality education to students. The
department is accredited by NBA for the academic year 2018-19 to 2024-25. The department has a well-
established R & D Centre recognized by VTU, Belagavi, and faculty are actively involved in the research activities,
publishing their work in various Journals and Conferences in thrust areas like, Network Security, Internet of Things,
Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing and Deep Learning etc. The
department has an ongoing research project funded by VGST and organized four online FDPs on thrust areas
funded by AICTE Training and Learning Academy (ATAL). The department has state of art infrastructure to support
research and develop students into professionals. Students are trained with multi-dimensional skill sets for their
holistic growth. The department regularly organizes skill development programs, workshops, technical talks and
industrial visits to keep the students abreast with technology.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering started in 2001 with an intake of 60 students and the present
intake is 180. The Department is renowned for imparting quality education with well-qualified and dedicated
faculty members, who are experts in various domains of Computer Science & Engineering and strive for an
exceptional career growth for the students.The Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
in Computer Science & Engineering. A well-equipped Research & Development (R&D) Center, affiliated to VTU, has
been set up to cater to the needs of the research scholars, as they conduct cutting-edge research towards doctoral
degrees.The Teaching-learning process put in place by the Department is well defined to help students
explore the trending technologies via Skill Development Programmes organised by the industry-institute
Interaction Cell. Students are also encouraged to improve their performances in the University
examinations through Performance Enhancement Classes. The Innovative Project Labs (IPL) of the R&D Center
encourages and equips the faculty and students to uncover innovative ideas, which are also funded through the
Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) to ensure prototyping to validate the ideas.

Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML)

The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) is approved by AICTE-VTU from the academic
year 2020-21. We have started our exciting journey in the year 2020 where the department offers an undergraduate
B.E. program with an intake of 120 students. The Department boasts of well qualified teaching faculty with rich
research, teaching and industrial experience and is committed to impart rigorous training to students to generate
knowledge through the state-of-the-art concepts and technologies in AIML, and transform the Department as a
leader in imparting AIML education and research. It is heartening to find that our students look forward to
contributing to solving the technological challenges of society with active participation, perseverance, and hard
work. Skill & knowledge relevant to real-world problems is inculcated to produce dynamic, socially conscious, and
sensitive human beings.
