Triple Skin GRP ifp
Site-assembled
Site-assembled triple skin roof lights are part of our insulating range of composite
rooflights , specifically designed to be shipped in bulk quantities. These sheets are
shipped as a kit which can be assembled on site by a skilled roofing contractor
using the attached fixing instructions . They are used in combination with insulated
roof and wall panels to provide a cool ,naturally illuminated space.
Applications:
Any structure that uses corrugated
insulated panels in its roof or walls
where long term high quality
lighting is required as well as
thermal insulation.
Key Benefits:
Manufactured from a modified resin system, reinforced with
high quality glass fibre roving.
Encompasses built-in UV inhibitors which prevents early degradation,
yellowing and embitterment of the sheet.
Oven-cured and profiled to ensure maximum binding and strength.
Incorporates special light diffusing additives which scatter light passing
through. This is particularly important to ensure good light distribution
and to reduce glare and excessive shadow.
Certified By: Over 500 profiles available to match most metal and asbestos sheets
in the market.
An extremely flexible product providing unique variation to meet design criteria.
Non fragile. Easy storage.
U-values as low as 0.9 W/m2k.
Tight seal design prevents water leakage or condensation.
Mix and match top and liner sheets to create a huge range
of properties.

TRAFFICABILITY
Roofs are dangerous places to work and it is
recommended that the following information be
included in the "Health & Safety File".
No person should have access to a roof unless under the

TRANSPORTATION, HANDLING & STORAGE
Sheets are generally supplied loosely. Store sheets on flat, clean, level battens located at 1.5 m
centers. Secure against theft and from being blown away.Continuously protect sheets stored in
open with waterproof Opaque covers, otherwise even on relatively dull days sheets stacks will act
as a solar battery boiling any entrapped moisture and discoloring the sheets. Inspect regularly to
ensure that moisture has not penetrated the stack.
FIRE RATINGS
Our sheets are tested in
accordance to BS 476: part 7 and
can be offered in various fire
retardant grades, adhering to
construction code requirements.
UV RESISTANCE
We use high quality UV stabilizers in
our resin system to protect our
sheets from excessive yellowing
and degradation.
Our ULTRA grade sheets incorporate
an added layer of UV protection for
applications where it is needed.
COLOUR
Our sheets can be supplied in a
variety of tints to meet different
shading and lighting requirements.
* Please note: some colour
pigments can fade over time
particularly in translucent sheets,
and long term colour stability
cannot be guaranteed.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
Our sheets can be manufactured to
different degrees of chemical
resistance based on the
application.
