There is a very old notion that going to college is considered the only way for a person to

achieve success. However, that is now being challenged by some people, who argue that
going to university will give us valuable opportunities and skills, but it is not the only path to
success. From my objective perspective, I completely agree with the view that college is the
only path to success.

First of all, no place can help you develop your personal abilities better than university. Here,
not only your knowledge but also your skills are developed thanks to activities and exercises.
Just as Essex Business school said, "University is great for personal development. Beyond
academic knowledge, university teaches crucial life skills like financial management,
independence, and a cultural understanding.”.

Secondly, it is networking. Besides cultivating personal skills, studying at university also

gives us the opportunity to approach and get to know many friends and experts in our field
of study. After university it will help you a lots. According to Hill.D,” Universities serve as
hubs for networking and building professional relationships.”.

Finally, holding a college degree will help you get a well paid job. According to Bay Atlantic
University, “With a college degree, you are eligible for higher-paying jobs and can pursue
careers in various fields.”.

However, there is some special case that they still earn successful without studying in the
university. Such as Bill Gates, he refused studying at school and now he is a billionaire.

In conclusion, not everyone can be as successful as Bill Gates. Therefore, studying at

university is the correct and most effective path to success.
