Supervisor
Main Role & Responsibilities:
• Assist operations manager to maintain highest safety standards at work and to ensure incident free work.
• Learn operational plans and requirements from the operations manager and effectively communicating them to
the sectional supervisors and team/group leaders.
• Provide feedback to the operations manager and suggest process / performance improvements.
• Assist operations manager in developing standard operating procedures and educating employees on correct
procedures to be followed.
• Act as the coordinator between different shifts / work groups and ensure that all are on the same understanding
and moving at the right direction.
• Preparing and presenting performance / activity monitoring reports to the operations manager
• Act as the first line of contact for employee concerns / grievances, not solved at immediate supervisor level
• Be the alternate contact for customer(s) and business partner(s)
Additional responsibilities:
• Identify at risk behaviour and unsafe work conditions
• Close coordination with HSSEQ Department to take immediate corrective measures
• Educate employees and create a Safety Mind-set
• Communicate daily operational targets and priorities to sectional supervisors
• Follow up and monitor to ensure that targets are achieved
• Focus on quality and compliance to SOPs.
• Report non-compliance to operations manager and propose corrective actions
• Attend toolbox meetings and safety meetings/briefs
• Maintain the facility in a safe, clean, and presentable condition
• Conduct SOP refresher sessions as approved by the operations manager
• Coordinate employee training activities
• Take care of employee well-being and welfare
• Coordinate with HR Department on employee related matters as approved by the operations manager
• Investigate accidents / incidents, provide reports, and assist operations manager in deciding on corrective
measures
• Assist operations manager in investigating and responding to customer complaints
• Coordinate procurement and purchasing process of items essential for uninterrupted operations

• Maintain very good relationship with customer(s) representative(s)
• Act as a reliever when a sectional supervisor is away
• Ensure that all customer requirements are duly catered during the absence of operations manager
Qualification and education Requirement:
• Post qualifying work experience – minimum 5 years at Supervisory or Junior Executive Level
• Proven ability to assist in key managerial functions such as planning, duty rosters, performance monitoring,
preparing, and presenting management information, personnel management etc.
• Very good knowledge on English Language, both written and spoken
• Business communication skills including letter, e-mail, report drafting and presentation
• Computer literate, advanced MS Office skills.
• Previous experience in warehouse / logistics management software
• Very good knowledge and experience in safe work practices and safety and health requirements of the industry
• Should be able to drive by himself and possess a valid driving license from the country of origin.
