A Day at the Zoo
Liam and his sister Emma go to the zoo with their parents. It is a sunny day, and they are excited.
First, they see the elephants. The elephants are big and grey. They eat grass and bananas.
Next, they go to the monkey area. The monkeys are very funny. They jump and play in the trees.
One monkey takes Liam’s hat! Everybody laughs.
Then, they visit the lions. The lions sleep in the sun. They are very big and strong. Emma likes
the lions a lot. Before they go home, they eat ice cream. Liam has chocolate ice cream, and
Emma has vanilla ice cream. They have a great day at the zoo!

Tom is a 12-year-old boy who loves sports. Every Saturday morning, he plays football with his
friends in the park. They play for two hours. Tom is a good player, and sometimes he scores

In the afternoon, he helps his mother in the kitchen. They cook lunch together. Tom likes making
sandwiches and salads. His mother teaches him how to prepare new recipes.
On Sunday, Tom does his homework in the morning. Then, he goes to his grandmother’s house.
She lives in a small village near the city. Tom likes visiting her because she tells interesting
stories about her childhood.
In the evening, Tom watches a movie with his family. They like adventure films. After that, he
reads a book before going to bed. He enjoys his weekends a lot!
